This “painter” was hired to paint the interior of my home. He did not do a good job. He did not finish the job. When was asked to paint the entire ceiling he refused. He sprayed the ceiling but refused to roll it to ensure complete coverage. He left paint overspray all over my tiled floors, carpets, light fixtures, and door knobs. Unsatisfactory!

We returned to touch up areas after you had ceiling vents installed. We try our best to leave a satisfied customer but cannot do more than we were contracted for. Your request for us to return and paint additional areas is unreasonable. Neither can we return to clean debris left by other contractors. Everything went as planned in the time given during the estimate. They arrived on time everyday, cleaned after themselves and also help with some additional patch work. I am very picky and felt anything I pointed out they quickly fixed. This being said, there were not any issues at all just I can be a bit OCD so if I saw a tiny spot in the corner that needed more paint they quickly fixed it. The price was also great, it was lower than the other contractors but they did not lack on quality. Overall it went well and I would definitely hire them again.

We were extremely pleased, both with the painters and the finished job. The estimate was considerably lower than the other contractor we had contacted, and the final price matched the quoted price. The painters were prompt, efficient, tidy and a pleasure to deal with. The job was completed in the two days we were told it would take. Overall Academy Painting exceeded our expectations.

I must say we are delighted with the quality and impeccable service of work. The staff we’re courteous, helpful and accommodating. Mr. William and his helper arrived every day on time ready to work. At the end of their work day everything was left cleaned and organized for the following day. I must say I was very impressed with how quick and efficient they are. Mr William was very professional and responsible, he goes out of his way to keep the customer happy. I also would like to compliment his helper Jeremy, who was very courteous and professional as well. I would definitely hired Mr William for any other projects in my home. ? % satisfied.

William and Jeremy were extremely thorough, professional and did a great job. Would highly recommend them. They were extremely accommodating as well, helping to move furniture both before and after painting. Very easy to schedule through Jasmine in the office. We will use them again for other rooms when we do them.

Academy Paitning did an awesome job. They used high quality paint. They took their time all the fine details. They were respectful of not only my car while I was home but my neighbors as well. They deliberately waited until my neighbors car wasn’t in their driveway until they started painting over there so they wouldn’t get spots on his car.

Academy responded to my request email within 24 hrs. (unlike some businesses that never seem to read their own email/web forms.) Subsequent correspondence was also answered just as quickly, and they were always polite & friendly. A+ for customer service! Their foreman, William, came out for a quote the very next day, and they fit us on their job schedule the following Monday! Work took about 3-4 hours & was flawless. The texture was seamless. We found Academy on Angies List & was impressed by their reviews, and I have to agree!

We hired Ron to paint the interior of our 1,500 square foot home. He did a fantastic job and was very detailed in painting all of the walls and trim, retexturing the ceiling in a few spots, and was able to remove the curtains and patched the holes as requested. The outcome was impressive and we are happy that we decided to use Ron at Academy Painting.

THEFT. Do not hire these people. I accepted the services of this company based on their 5-star rating with Angie's List. A bad mistake. Two men arrived on June 4, 2018, and work was completed on June 5, 2018. One man worked in my master bedroom for both days. I had an open tray-type jewelry box. I didn't even think about it, very unfortunately. Three pieces of 14k gold jewelry were stolen. A sheriff report was filed with the Volusia County Sheriff's office on 7/19/2018. It is an open case, and as of the date of this review, is ongoing.

William came out to give an estimate the same day that we called. They worked us into their schedule the same week. They arrived early each day, and worked hard continuously each day. They cleaned as they worked and cleaned thoroughly. They answered all of our questions, and explained what they were doing as they worked. The floors look terrific!
