The Dryer Guys

Service was done on dryer vent. The next day, I needed to use the dryer after clothes washing. I tried to remove the dryer filter to check for lint but it would not come out. I tried to pull and move it side to side. It would not come out. I called Ted to report this. He said to pull it up and shake it side to side. I did that and told him it would not budge. I know that he checked the filter when servicing the dryer. I asked him if he could come back to resolve the problem. He said he would come over on 3/22. I asked him if I should try to remove the screws holding the filter screen. He said not to do this and said he would come back to take care of the problem. He never showed up. I called him and left a message. Never responded. I have called him three more times but he never returned my calls. I am totally disappointed in his failure to respond to my situation. I still have a problem with removing the filter. I will have to call another company to have them take care of what Ted (The Dryer Guys) failed to take care of.

Ted came same day and did excellent, thorough job in a timely Anne right. Could that the lint was backed up so far that it was packed into the entire lower front of the dryer which is a huge fire hazard. Nice guy and more than reasonably priced

dryer duct cleanout

As reviewed by another customer, I had my dryer vent serviced by Imperial. The young guy who came and jiggled the connector hose from the dryer to the vent duct in the wall said I had a potential problem on my hands and should replace the elbow connector. I did agree to him replacing the flexible hose from the dryer to the connector but declined to have them do anything beyond vacuum/blow out the lint in the dryer vent. The dryer still did not dry my clothes. I called a technician to check out my dryer and was assured the machine was fine. Called Imperial again (numerous times) before the same young guy came back to tell me that the problem with the connector elbow in the wall had worsened and we may need to cut into the wall ...... I got onto Angie's list to read reviews of Imperial and discovered my similar story with another unhappy customer. Fortunately, The Dryer Guys were also mentioned by this same client. I called Ted who was courteous and professional and he found the source of my problem. It was not the elbow connector and no walls had to be cut open. From now on I will use The Dryer Guys to maintain and keep my dryer vents lint free. They don't play any funny games and I gladly endorse them. Thank you Ted.

After experiencing an unpleasant up-sell attempt from Imperial Services (see review), I contacted Ted from The Dryer Guys. He assured me none of the problems existed that were mentioned during the up-sell attempt. He proceeded to thoroughly clean out my dryer's vent properly. He also replaced the dryer to vent connection hose without additional charge. He explained everything involved with the procedure, which was much appreciated. I'd like to also mention that he went above and beyond his job by letting me know that there was much debris on the roof clogging up my next-door neighbor's gutter. After checking with me if it was okay, he took a ladder and went up there and removed the bulk of the debris, preventing possible damage to my neighbor's gutter/leader. Afterward, he proceeded to let someone in the property manager's office know about the issue. My faith is restored in the dryer vent cleaning service business!

Great! Quick and done nicely!!

I was very happy with the service. I was able to get an appointment easily. The guy showed up on time, was very friendly and courteous, he cleaned out the vent, replaced the duct and he cleaned out the whole area behind the dryer. He didn't try to upsell me any other services. In fact, I've been cleaning my vent every year (I do a lot of laundry) and he said that might not even be necessary. I would definitely recommend them and would definitely use them again.

After explaining the service process, in everyday terms so we understood it, we scheduled a date.
The Dryer Guys gave us a 1 hour service window, unheard of, and showed up on time the day of service.
They were prompt, courteous, professional and very clean. A work blanket was placed on our floors to protect the area.
We were able to watch the entire process and were given a step by step explanation to the process.
They included a new exhaust hose for our dryer too! They cleaned the entire laundry area, floor,walls and both the washer and dryer as well, leaving the area cleaner than it has been in a very long time.
They also checked and cleaned the roof top portion of the exhaust system...no extra charges!!
We were so happy to find such a great service provider, we told several of our neighbors and they made appointments
on the spot...The Dryer Guys even gave us a special group price discount. 
Before they came to our home, it was taking almost two cycles to dry our clothes, now every load dries in about 35 mins!
We highly recommend using this company. Best experience with a service provider in Florida so far!!
