Now they come in twice a month and clean up, vacuum, clean floors, bathrooms, kitchen, dust, etc.
It's great coming home to a clean house.
They initially came and looked at the house and gave me a quote of $150 for the first visit and $85 per thereafter. They verbally stated that the price was based on $20 hour per person on the crew. AT NO TIME WERE THEY EVER HERE FOR THE LENGTH OF TIME CHARGED. Each visit was 3 people and they were here less than an hour which works out to over $28/hour. The service performed was not exceptional. clean bathrooms (sink and shower in only one room is ever used) vacuum and mop, and clean the kitchen ( I dont cook either and they just put any dishes left out into the dishwasher).
When I became disappointed over the amount charged and the time spent, I canceled service over the phone. The owner was very arrogant and disrespectful. I should note that when they do an estimate they make you sign a service agreement which requires 60 day notice. At cancellation she insisted that I pay them $255 for the 3 visits that were outstanding (I had them scheduled for every 3 weeks). They never sent a bill and instead went straight to an attorney who sent a dunning letter.
A word of advice from someone who learned the hardway.....never EVER contract with someone who feels the need to contractually obligate you to their service. Any company with good customer service and quality retains their customers.
