The quality of the service (piano tunning) was not good

As expected. Since the piano had not been tuned in likely 10 years (per seller), given option shortly into tuning to continue with tuning to nearest frequency or a more time-consuming pitch change to the pitch standard (i.e., A at 440hz). I decided to due the pitch change to standard later, though in hindsight may make more sense just to get it to standard first shot. Anyway, I appreciated option and promotional special was a great deal so very happy. He did a great job and now, few months later, is tuning to pitch standard today. For new piano owners, should expect to retune piano two or three times a year--especially first couple of years.

doug replied quickly to my initial contact and to subsequent phone calls, and was consistently courteous, professional and very generous with information. he seemed both knowledgeable and honest, and did not push me in any way to begin what would be expensive repairs. i would definitely recommend him.
