I moved to Boca Raton 2 years ago and could not get a recommendation from my friends for a piano tuner. I was concerned that the piano had not been tuned for over 2 years and had not been tuned since the move. I accepted the Angie's List offer and within a few days Doug Suvall came out and brought my piano back to like new. It is a 50+ year old Baldwin Acrosonic spinet piano. Doug was a pleasure to watch as he meticulously checked each key and string. It is a pleasure to play now that I know it has an accurate sound again. I arranged for Doug to come back in 6 months for the piano's semi annual checkup.

Was very engaging. Poor response, took a while for him to get back to me, but, I wasn't in that much of a hurry, who is to get their piano tuned. When he left, the next day I began playing the piano and one of the keys had a buzz in it. It is a new grand piano, so I can only attribute this to him. He is coming back (has not as yet) to fix it, so I don't know how it will go.

I contacted Doug @ Precision Piano Tuning after he sent me an e-mail and we arranged a time for him to meet us. He was very polite and enthusiastic about tuning our Baldwin piano. He showed up on time and went right to work...he sure knows his business! I am very pleased and will look forward to having him maintain our piano in the future. It had not been tuned since we moved here over 5 years ago and sounds beautiful again. Thanks to Angie's list we found a great piano tuner and will use this service again I'm sure !!!

I had an Angie's List special from Precision Piano Tuning. It had been many years since the last tuning, and this was an excellent opportunity to get my piano into shape. All went very well. Doug, the owner, was extremely competent, skilled, professional and friendly. He took his time, checking and tuning each key; making sure that the piano was properly tuned; the process took over an hour. I was extremely pleased.

He was very nice, and he came to my home on time. He tuned my piano and will call me in 6 months because I tend to forget to have my piano tuned regularly. I am very glad to have found a good piano tuner. In the past, I have had trouble getting somebody to come on a regular basis, but since he will call to make an appointment, it will be so much easier for me.

Piano was not too "untuned" even though it had been years since it was last tuned. All went well.

He loves pianos and enjoyed the historical bio on mine. Doug arrived on time and although I bought a sale price special he gave over an hour of tuning. One of the keys slightly raised up but he promised it would not affect the quality of the music. He explained that he could align the slightly raised key but not in the time frame of the special price. He did not pressure me for a revisit but suggested I tune the piano at least annually so I told him to call me two months before the next tuning so I can schedule it with plenty of time. I also feel he adjusted the keyboard action too slow...in other words the keys when hit take a relatively long time to recover. I like a springier keyboard, and I wish I had told him this when he was here. I am not sure why he slowed it, because the action was tighter before he began the tuning. Overall, Doug i69 professional, talented and polite.
