started great but it went down hill doors that were in stalled dented then replaced and fell apart and replaced again and billed for all three times . had new ceilings coating installed to cover blemishes and was paint ready and the ceiling looked worst then it did before it was done. returned did poor job try ti fix his mistakes had wall repaired but were he patched you could see each seam not sanded properly. over charged for a bathroom drain when confronted about he returned while we were 1300 miles away and removed it with out telling anybody when sink was used for the first time it flooded cabinets and floors, pictures that were sent to us 1300 miles away did not show poor workman ship over paid for work allowed hime to return to fix his mistakes he had all the pictures taken by his tech that need to be done you would think the owner of the franchise mr handyman well known company in south florida would come out himself to take a look at his techs work since we are months into the project the answer is NO he did not even step up as a owner he was quick to blame other trades for his short falls

Unprofessional people. Never lived upto their words. Had asked them to provide estimates when they there working next door. Agreed to come by. Never showed up so would never hire them and is a reg flag for lack of professionalism.

The prices are a rip off. $116 per hour, more than I get paid as a doctor of psychology for an hour session. Mr. Handyman charges $168 for the first hour and then $56 for every 30 minutes beyond one hour. They record the calls and disclose their charges on the call after taking down details of the work needed and having the caller buy into being helped by "licensed and bonded professionals who waranty the work." They make no effort to confirm that the customer actually heard, appreciated, and understood the prices quoted, which totals $952 for one man-day of 8 hours. No written contract was sent and agreed to in advance. In my view they take advantage of older people. Respecting performance, they changed the appointment to an afternoon rather than a morning appointment and did not show up until 3:30 pm. The work that was done was good but the workman had my wife sign what she thought was confirmation of the 2 hours work done on an ipad. On the ipad the prices were not readily visible or pointed out, if they were there at the time. After speaking with one of the owners no adequate accommodation was offered. I don't know if this is a franchise, but, I would not use or recommend the use of this company to an enemy. I don't know what they pay their workman employees, but it is apparent to me that their real business is to market to an older population that needs handyman services, is trusting, and is perhaps not as sharp as its members once were. I don't know how real the company's positive reviews are, but, I find the company's pricing outrageously expensive. While every effort in the initial contact is made to help the client feel secure, no effort is made to be sure that the client understands just what the services will actually cost, which, again, amounts to $952 for one man day of 8 hours.

The majority of our customers are repeat customers, and our honest, on-line reviews speak for themselves. We clearly state our pricing on each call, which you had heard from the recording we provided to you. We also have our customers sign an invoice on the day of service (which your wife did and provided to you as well), before our technician starts the job, which states the price, so there are no surprises. We may cost a little more, but our customers believe that having a company that is licensed, bonded and insured, has an office staff to handle scheduling, and warranties their work, is worth it. If you would like to discuss this further, please give us a call in the office."

My technician Eddie was fantastic! He quickly knocked out my long task list. His work was professional and done with quality. Eddie took the time to answer my questions and show me his work. He also was very punctual which I greatly appreciated. I would like Eddie to return to repair a Murphy Bed that was damaged by my movers. Excellent service! Lazaro was in time removed the rotten wood from the door frame and replaced then painted. He was amazing! I’m a realtor in SF and will be using this service in the future. If you need a handyman give them a call! Five stars for sure.

It was a great experience from start to finish. Darrin and Jodi were responsive and helpful. The technician who came, Mike J. was wonderful. He explained what he was going to do, got the materials and did a great job. He even had some paint to finish up the job. The price was fair and I thought the service was exceptional.

We are in the middle of moving/closing the sale of our house and many things began to break the day off, and he came quickly and did a great and professional job through and through with each repair that we needed around the house. I was happy with some work, very unhappy with other work. NOT HAPPY WITH: (1) Patch various holes, Mud/finish/paint new drywall in closet and around windows, Hang blinds in front of house, cut and hang molding on left side of a door, ,Fix screen on back of house, WHY I AM NOT HAPPY: I attached pictures. The hole patching looked like something I did. It was not professional at all. At first I thought I was happy with how he hung the blinds, until I notice a 1 inch gap in the middle. The one side of molding replaced was taller than the existing piece. See pic. I also felt he didn't have the technical experience for a person I am paying over $100 per hour. If he ran into an issue, he couldn't offer solutions. HAPPY WITH: hung shelf that fell in closet, hung Jewelry cabinet, stabilize 2 external electrical outlets, Attach external items to the new siding for the generator, Put up toilet paper holder, Cut off hurricane screws around the house (fill in / paint); mud/paint small area on ceiling,

I hired Mr. Handyman to replace the rollers in my sliding glass doors. I was assured this is work they could perform, but the tech did not make the repairs. He reminded me constantly that I needed to pay him $216. He left with the money and I was left where I started. I hired another company to come in and make the repairs. I was sent an email receipt, which was actually a lengthy contract waiving my rights to cancel. I was never given this contract to read. Also, the worry free guarantee on their website is bogus. The company has done nothing to fix this issue and it's still in dispute with my credit card company and the BBB. Please do not sign any iPad without knowing where your signature is being placed. I was told it was just to approve work to be done. What they did was very shady.

The first handyman did a terrible very unprofessional job! I wasn’t home so my husband paid for it. Then my husband painted the wall, The next morning I called Mr Handyman and complaining about the job. It looked like I patched the wall myself. The woman was very nice and sent a real drywall man the next day and he redid the job and painted the section of the wall and then it was great. Only wish he came first
