Monster Construction Inc - MCI

Rob came out in October. Was very prompt and courteous. Gave us a great bid. We accepted the offer in Dec 2015 and gave them 50% down with a start date for the last week in Feb 2016. I called one week prior to the installation to confirm and was told the windows wouldn't be in for another week later than expected. We were delayed 2 more times. They call the third week in March 2016 and said the windows would be in next week and that I could pay them the next installment now. I refused to pay them until the windows were on my property, not theirs. They showed up a week later with some of the windows. The rest of the windows showed up a week after that. Our kitchen window was ordered as a clear window but showed up frosted. To this day (7/12/16) the job is still not finished - Roger and Rob are still saying the replacement window is back-ordered, delayed, showed up scratched, the wrong size.... you name it .... the excuse of the week. They are consistent in their ability to lie (that's if you can get them to answer the phone or return a call). They screwed up the permit process as well. Now I am having to deal with our municipality to get that whole issue taken care of. They quote great prices but you get what you pay for - horrible customer service and terrible mismanagement. I feel sorry for their workers who were very polite and did a great job with the installation once the windows got here. If I had it to do all over again, I would have gone with someone else. I lost money on delays to construction due to them and lots of personal time trying to fix the screw ups. Avoid them. Go with someone you can trust. By all means, if you do choose them, don't pay until the work is done!

MCI Windows did a wonderful job, better than I expected. When job was complete, it looked like original windows that were installed.

Most important when BBB was threaten to be notified, the order was completed 6/20/2014 - The vendor never responded to the letter from BBB.
It took 10 months to get the work done.  Totally unacceptable.

MCI Construction did an excellent job start to finish! Showed up at the scheduled time and gave me a fair and accurate quote. The owner Roger placed my order immediately and the items arrived when he said it would. 4 weeks later his crew Joel, Carlos and Juan showed up on time, worked late for 2 days (in the rain!) and didn't leave until the job was completely finished and I was happy with everything. They were professional, considerate of my belongings and did an excellent job! Brian also worked very hard to schedule the inspection and make sure everything went smoothly. I'm using them again for some additional work I need done. I would highly recommend them!

Bob Ross came in November to provide us with an estimate. He got back to us with a quote in a very brief time. His quote was the most price competitive and he left me with a good impression. So we decided to go with his company.
We placed our order and chose the glass pattern and textures as well as the door knobs. The materials were ordered and were ready for installation in the delay that was provided. They custom painted the doors to match the house exterior color. They then scheduled the installation, which was also carried out as promised.
It was a full day's job. The installers were professional and worked neatly. The door looks great and we get so much more natural light in the entry now! The final inspection was carried out by the county and it passed with flying colors.
MCI requires a 50% deposit at time of ordering as it was for custom materials. They require 25% when all materials are in and ready for install. The final 25% is requested once the final inspection is approved by the county and the home owner is satisfied with the job.
