Horrible. They picked up my furniture on 7/27. They subcontracted a mover to pick it up and the mover began to charge me extra for nothing. They said my furniture required extra space. In reality, I had one less box to move than what I contracted for with LDMovers. Their subcontractors are designed to shake you down for extra cash based on steps, weight or space, and they will not begin to charge you extra until they have loaded your possessions. Then, my furniture was not delivered until August 22nd. That's right, over three weeks later. When they came, they did not deliver my futon, my antique large book bookcase, antique park bench and a box of valuable framed family photos. Further, they delivered the wrong desk chair, mine an antique oak chair I have had for 30 years. The items they did deliver were scratched and filthy.LDMovers provided me with an insurance company name that supposedly insured the Road Runner Moving & Storage (the company they subcontracted), but the company refused my claim because they no longer insured the stated company. I have complained to the better business bureau, and LDMovers responded that they would settle my claim for $200. That's right, $200. This company lied to at every turn. They never told me the truth about anything. They contacted me on Aug. 5th, saying that my futon and park bench had been found and would be delivered on Aug. 7th or 8th. I have heard nothing since, and nothing has been delivered. Do not trust this company. They are liars and thieves.
