Laura Mindell Interior Design

Laura’s job was challenging. I didn’t have an empty new house with tons of cash. I was moving into a much smaller completely furnished house. Laura had to blend 2 sets of older things into a cohesive attractive package. It was perfect and it didn’t cost a cent:). She acted quickly, kept her cool and was just lovely to work with. Laura is amazing and a delight to work with. I am elated with the way my primary bathroom came out, what with the various choices she suggested and the contacts she has for special jobs. She is thorough and has an eye for details. I'm disabled and it was a pleasure working with her and trusted her judgment. In fact she has given me some advice with the primary bedroom I need to update. I would recommend Laura for any interior job you might have.

Laura was very easy to work with. She sought out my needs, wants, and my budget and made sure that the project reflected my tastes. Her ideas for updating the spaces in my home were excellent. She had a wonderful network of vendors and skilled work people who were a pleasure to work with. Laura was always on top of things, making sure that all work was done to the highest quality standards and on time. I could not have asked for more in a designer. I would highly recommend her.

Laura was great...worth every penny spent. Left on my own I would have made many mistakes...She has a great I mean great eye for color and placement of furniture. We downsized and I struggling with even liking this house. I am so pleased to say that I finally after Laura's help like my new home...She is also fun to work with my husband thought he was a decorator when we moved so she handled that problem very diplomatically. don't hesitate just hire her and she is budget conscious ...

Laura is a PLEASURE to work with! Excellent design advice, listens to what client wants, does not push her own agenda. She is accommodating, personable and very pleasant. Laura was always conscious of my budget and I never found myself in uncomfortable situations. The people she works with and recommends are also wonderful -workers are punctual, neat, clean and professional. All in all, a very positive experience. I will definitely work with Laura again when I am ready to undertake other home projects.

I had a few projects that Laura and I worked on together. She helped me design my master bath of my dreams. Her contractors were top notch. They showed up on time, finished on time and were very neat and tidy. Laura was fun to work with, knows her business well and I would highly recommend her for either a remodel or decorating services. My home looks great!!

After countless phone interviews we had face to face interviews with six designers. We hired Laura Mindell because she listened deeply to what my wife and I both had to say. Now that we are coming to the end of our initial rejuvenation project, we can say we made a great decision. We purchased a 30 year old home in Boca Raton in August of 2018. We were very clear on the type of person we need to work with but not so clear on our vision of what we wanted the house to look like. Laura was able to get us to tell her what we liked/disliked and she formed a cohesive plan that worked for both of us and our budget. Laura was always mindful of our budget. We discussed our lifestyle and our personal taste and even told her we were basically looking to hire a friend with much better taste than us! Laura got it. She took our jumbled ideas and turned them into a cohesive and beautiful plan. Laura found us an outstanding person to remove our popcorn, a painter that might have been the best person we ever hired, electricians and picture framers as well as she introduced us to great furniture and lighting stores. She found us fabric to recover our dining room chairs with and never lost sight of our budget outline. Over the course of the past few months our house has come together and it looks spectacular. We will continue to work with Laura going forward. Our next project will be to redo our outdoor areas. We could not be happier with our choice for interior decoration. Laura Mindell is outstanding

Laura Mindell was awesome! She is very efficient and does not waste any time. I also love that she is very personable, always on time with appointments and has been able to recommend other installers/ contractors as needed. We are using Laura to re-do our entire home. We continue to use Laura in stages as needed and we are so happy we have found her. We trust Laura and give her a 5/5 rating. Great job Laura!!

I feel like Laura was offering advise for someone that likes traditional design. Also, she gave me her written advise on a yellow legal pad. She's very nice but not for modern or contemporary design.

Laura is an excellent designer. She has a great eye and had creative ideas for our space. We never felt that Laura's aesthetic was pushed on us. She always listened and took our likes and dislikes into account. She was always available and flexible with her time. We recently asked Laura to help us with a small bathroom after a major renovation of our kitchen and great room. She came to our home to help focus the workers while we were at work. She consistently stayed in touch and provided and asked for feedback. We have worked with Laura for both large and small jobs and plan to work with her in the future. We highly recommend Laura.

Working with Laura was a wonderful experience. I had a very limited budget and was skeptical about whether or not working with a designer would be money well spent. Laura saved me from making many costly mistakes! She is truly skilled in her craft and made my home look I spent a lot more than I actually did. I hired Laura after receiving a quick response from her on the Home Advisor website. I needed help with furniture placement and purchasing, particularly in the "great room". She was prompt, professional and very personable as well as very willing to work with my budget. Now that she has helped me the room looks fantastic! I would highly recommend her for any decorating need or any budget.

Laura and I worked together on a quick project for a new condo. I found Laura to be very easy to work with and she had great ideas on how to re-do the bathroom as well as furniture selection and layout for the other rooms. We had an good collaborative relationship and I would definitely use her on future projects.

Laura and I worked together for over a year, where she helped me to redecorate several rooms in my home. She's a great listener, was easy to work with, and she came up with creative design ideas for each room that I would never have thought of. Thus far, it was a small project just helping me pick paint colors for the whole interior of our new home, but I was very pleased with how it went for start to finish. I have just started the painting and finished the largest room, where she selected a main color and the. A separate accent wall color and we are very pleased with how it came out. Scheduling was convenient and all went as she promised. I will use her again as we go along in the process of decorating our new home.
