awful; stay away from this company. Not professional, cheap product, would rather lie than correct their own error. Did not measure cabinets correctly; did not provide a real pull out trash drawer as ordered - just took a regular cabinet and put a cheap wire can holder inside. Do not use at any cost.

1st rep did not design correctly after meeting at condo/review of needs, 2nd rep ok; non-custom cabinets not good quality; ordered a pull out trash drawer-came as cabinet to be refitted/stuck in cheap white wire can holder/did not fit drawer properly, can't get back can out easily; did not measure correctly-some cabinets scrape the frig/microwave sides even after hinges changed. Drawing of kitchen approved-one tall cabinet came wrong-refused to supply correct one, claimed they told me could not have this type of cabinet (they did not)-would only glue 2 doors together, move inside shelf, then had to take 5" off cabinet back as they had not measured that space correctly with the refrigerator door (full info on frig had been supplied). They lie rather than correct issue. I signed to alter that cabinet because they refused to supply the cabinet ordered and was in drawings. Tried to say was not his drawing but company name on papers. Tried to say cabinet height correct - but the cabinets themselves were not. Cabinets ordered white - not white on inside or even on bottom. 2nd rep claimed he showed me but I never looked at cabinets with him, just 1st rep. Asked if cabinets went to top of ceiling, if molding across top - was told cabinets go to ceiling -they do not. Make you pay in full in advance, so no recourse. They refuse any kind of refund. I am a college graduate, have my own business and have redone kitchen before. I could go on and on, but all I can say is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

First of all, I think the products are gorgeous! I've now had my kitchen counters and one bathroom redone by Granite & Marble Design , each with a different product. They are all beautiful and I get endless compliments from visitors. I also love the fact that their process is so fast and easy without having to do a lot of demo work for weeks on end. With each job they were in and out in a few days. The GMD guys who did the work were super polite and respectful and they completely cleaned up after the job was done. I will definitely use them again .

We had our kitchen remodeled including cabinets, counter tops, back splash and sink. Israel was great with the suggested design and with making adjustments to accommodate our wishes. We were able to have exactly the type of cabinets, counter top and back splash that I had been wanting for so long. Everyone on the project was professional and friendly and their workmanship was excellent. Rodrigo was amazing with the coordination of the project and the different crews involved. He even coordinated with our flooring company. All the workers showed up on time according to the schedule provided and left the site as clean as possible at the end of the day. We would definitely recommend and would use them again.

Everyone we worked with at Granite & Marble Design was wonderful.  All were very courteous, always on time, always offering to assist to work through any issues, just a great experience.  The vanity we ordered, white shaker, was very well built (dove tail drawers, easy close drawers and doors, etc.).  The granite installation went perfectly, how the pieces all fit together indicated their high quality of workmanship.  Overall, we love what they did for our master bathroom, and will definitely use them when we have to do our kitchen.  Great job!

The workmanship was very poor. I should have know when they spelled caulking as cocking on their estimate. One person showed up to do the counters and floors. Another person for the caulk and sealing. The caulk person used a blade and damaged the edges of the marble and granite counter tops. Clear silicone was used instead of matching the caulk color to the surface. Awful end result. Jose was unwilling to do it right and was visibly angry when requested to honor the agreement. Marble counters and travetine floors were left with scratches and hazed up in appearance in a few days. The worker disappeared for hours for lunch on the most important day of the job. Don't waste your time or money with this outfit. They were the most expensive (3 times the cost) and did a horrible job. Do not be fooled by the initial appearance of know how to justify the high price. Always ask if they use subcontractors and if so, go elsewhere. Angie list members that focus on marble repair and maintenance with A rating is your best option. Most are much cheaper and do a significantly better job.

I was pleased with the support Israel provided in ordering the kitchen cabinets . We ordered Armstrong wood cabinets which are well made.  I made the mistake of having our general contractor install them, only to have one of G&M's installers come out to correct some of the installation problems.  From what I experienced, I strongly suggest that G&M handle the project from ordering to installation.

l stopped by the showroom and made an appointment for Israel to come to my home for a free estimate for kitchen renovation. The appointment was set for August 21. Israel was prompt for the appointment. He sounded very professional, took some measurements, made some suggestions and said he may have to send someone to check out kitchen structural issues. I called him a few days later to ask a question about demolition and Israel had gone on vacation and would not return until September 3. I spoke to someone who said she was handling Israel's clients.When I asked her if demolition was something they did, she replied that Israel would have to answer that. Time was marching on, no salesperson, no estimate, no plan, no direction. This delay cut 2 weeks off the project that really hasn't gotten off the ground. Israel told me our 6 week timeline was doable and as of today, it is a 4 week timeline. Yesterday, I called the showroom to speak to the owner. Lorraine, who works in the office, told me the owner was not in and asked me could she help with the problem. She was very sympathetic and told me that Israel would be in at 8AM today and he would call me first thing and if he didn't, she would assign me a new salesperson. It is 9:35 PM and I still have not received a call. Do you think I would go 1 step further with Granite and Marble Design? Definitely not!

This company did a splendid job. They were prompt, did high quality work and went far beyond the call of duty to make sure everything was done properly. We couldn't have been more pleased. We highly recommend them for any bath or kitchen renovations. Their prices are fair and the quality of workmanship is splendid!

They took us to the warehouse to choose the granite. We found a light white with lots of gray in it and specks of burgundy color. Very beautiful. They came out and measured, then someone else came next day to make a template for the island with sink. Work was scheduled for one day. The owner came out with the first crew of 5 workers who removed the old granite in less than 2 hours. Next came a new crew who installed the new granite and it fit perfectly. No seams in the countertop. It took about 2 hours. A crew of 2 stayed for another 2 hours to clean up and make finishing touches. It is absolutely perfect and looks gorgeous. Their technical work was excellent and the workers were very professional. Work was completed on schedule. Best experience with a contractor ever.

UI was recommended to go with Granite and Marble via a friend of mine that had his kitchen remodeled (2) years ago. A lot has changed in those (2) years.
First of all Isreal Acosta is a real slick kid who has an answer for everything. He is too slick for his own good. I did not like this guy from the beginning and I was right. I went with them because of the recommendation, but should have relied on my gut instincts
First of all, they want 70% of the job up front which was unusual.
Second, we agreed on a kitchen layout and signed off on the design. The (2) key things on the layout was a 18 inch raised granite bar 9 inches above the rest of the granite for seating and I also sent them the appliances which included an oversized non counter depth fridge.
Third, I asked them if a PERMIT was needed since plumbing and electrical was happening. They said no.
Well the kitchen arrives and the workers come to start to put in the kitchen and guess what? The City Code comes and stops them from working because you need a d*** permit. This held up the job (2) weeks while I got one for this. You would think they would know their business.
The first installer started putting in screws in (2) of the cabinets in different angles like it was scrap wood. The second crew that came out corrected and started to do things right.
I was amazed at the attitude of Isreal and the workers there, like you were doing them a favor, no personality and it was like MY fault that the permit was not pulled.
It was not until I threatened to go to another cabinet company and possibly sue them, did things start to move.
But every step was a drag with them.
There was NO communication between the designer, the cabinet installers and the granite installers.
I had to stay most of the day withe cabinet guys because the drawing was not exactly what we had discussed.
The granite template guy comes and realized that the granite bar cannot be done the way they installed the cabinets.
So he just left with no explanation.
I HAD TO get MY HANDY MAN to BUILD a WALL so the Granite could raise 9 inches. They did not want to or did not know how to do it. My guy who happened to be a carpenter built the wall in an afternoon.
Then every time a portion of the job was done, they wanted money and the way they would do it is have the worker give you the bill and expect to be paid right there without telling me to be prepared for this. I use credit cards. So I would go to their shop and pay the bill no problem, but the worker would call the shop asap to tell them , I did not pay right there and if it was OK to work.
I mean that made me feel like a thief in the night.
Another delay.
Granite Installers come. They did not know that they needed support brackets for the outside kitchen window sill.
So I went to get the kitchen window sill brackets and Israel HIMSELF charged me $50.00 for (2) brackets.
Was I P***** when I went into Home Depot yesterday and SAW the same brackets for $5.60 each.
When I called him and told him this , he said the granite install was $2,500.00 and the bracket install was another $50.00
including the brackets.
I said OK no problem and that is why I am on Angie's List to say STAY AWAY FROM THESE CREEPS.
They have a sign that they put in 21,000 feet of granite in Hard Rock. I wonder if they were ever called back.
Qaulity of the paneling is average, install had errors that MY handyman had to correct and Isreal is a creep.
Bad experience overall.

They were great. They were perfect and their price was good. They showed up when they were supposed to and I didn't have any problems with them. I would use them again.

I reached out to this company looking for a very specific pattern and color of granite. The employee I dealt with over the phone quickly made some calls and combed through the warehouse. Fortunately, she was able to locate what I was looking for. M husband and I went to the store to look at the granite and it was certainly a beautiful piece with excellent quality - well protected from the sun and elements in the warehouse. We placed a deposit for the stone and gave a description of the pieces we would need along with their dimensions. A price for the template, cutting and installation was quoted. It seemed a bit high and the employee assured me that she could talk the manager down on the price. Months later when we were ready for the install, that employee was no longer there and of course no one was willing to adjust the price as she had promised. The work that was done was beautiful and professional, however white caulking was used on the shower seat instead of clear, which stands out a bit. Overall we were very happy and would use them again!

They are very timely and on schedule. I will use them again in the future.

Their service was excellent, their performance was excellent and their responsiveness was excellent. They are certainly worth pursuing. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

I contacted Granite & Marble Design based on reviews posted here. I went to their showroom in Delray Beach to look around, and made an appointment for an estimate. Karen Britto came out to take measurements and gave me the estimate while she was there, based on particular grades of granite. We scheduled the installation for about 2 weeks later. We met with Karen over the next weekend to pick the granite. Granite & Marble Design are fabricators, they install granite but they don't sell it. They work with two granite suppliers, Casale Marble Imports in Delray Beach and another in Boynton Beach. They recommended we use Casale because we might get a better price, so we did. Once we picked the granite style we wanted, we looked at all available slabs and picked the 3 best looking ones. A couple of days later, Jose came out to meaure and make the template. Granite & Marble Design started the job a day earlier than planned at my request, because I had some other work starting immediately after the granite installation. They came and removed the tile countertop and backsplash one day, and came back the next day to install. Everyone was very professional, and they did a great job! The price I listed here includes a sink. They had this sink in their showroom, and after searching online for different kinds of sinks, we kept coming back to this one. Although the sink actually required a wider cabinet than we had, they were able to make it fit. They offered me a great price on the sink, as good as the lowest price I saw online. I would definitely use Granite & Marble Design again and highly recommend them.

Terrific. You cannot see where the damage was.

I wanted a very unusual granite pattern. They were able to get it for me. It was very patterned and required matching that really had to be perfect. They did a beautiful job. Very professional, they work very cleanly and they were terrific. I have already recommended them to many people. I think their price is excellent for what I bought.

Fantastic! We got estimates from 9 different places. Even though most charge equally per square foot, they get you in the measurement. I had measurements ranging from 85 sq ft (the actual number) to 115 sq ft. These folks worked together with Home Depot who was doing the cabinet/Appliance installation, and everything worked out like clockwork.
