It went very well. Work was performed as expected. No surprises. Design was good and reflected their experience.

I called for a consultation and they sent someone right out. Charles came with his little picture swatches assessed my needs and laid the closet out in pictures so I could see exactly what I needed. I also consulted him on possibly replacing my washer and dryer with a stacking unit to get more shelves and gave me his opinion (which saved me $1300). They scheduled an install the next week. The installer was friendly, competent and even vacuumed up after himself. I love my closets! I am so organized now!

Tom Stasic gave me a good price upon submission of his bid for the job and was very 'friendly' sticking my name five times in one sentence, just like any used cars salesman. That alone should raise my suspicions right away, but the price was so good... The carpenter who came to do the job spoke English to no level of communication on what he was doing. All my remarks were answered with Speak with the office. Tom answered my calls about five hours after the carpenter was gone. I told him about substandard work done by his employee. Tom promised to send him back for corrections next morning, next morning turned into next afternoon, and finally into the next week. The general contractor who was responsible for connecting plumbing and other aspects of work dependent on finishing of the pantry could wait no longer and corrected all the mistakes himself (obviously, at a price). When I demanded return of my deposit, Tom told me that it is their company policy NEVER TO RETURN DEPOSITS, but I can talk to his boss, the owner Charles Shaffer, about possible discount if I am willing to have them to finish the job. Mr. Shaffer never returned my phone call while their operation manager Jonathan Bellechases assured me that he will. Tom Stacic stopped returning my calls either. Basically, they took $500 and ran away with it leaving me with a pile of particle-boards with the maximum value of $100. I had to hire another company to finish the job.

Update 6/7/11: More than two weeks after that and quot;wonderfuland quot; carpenter of his has done that inadequate work, Mr. Shaffer bothered to call me. That happened only after I posted the above negative comment. After another two weeks of bickering back and forth and posting his below deceptive response, finally by May 19th he agreed to return $250 if I drop my negative report. I have to admit: that was wrong on my side. I should not sell the truth for any amount of money. Well, I am just a human... I instructed Angie's conflict resolution specialist to remove my comment and was expecting to receive the check. I was skeptical with my expectations since I knew that Mr. Shaffer is a liar, because there is not much truth in his response to my complaint, but I decided to give him one more chance. In vain. Two weeks passed, money was nowhere to be seen, and when he was reminded about his promise, Mr. Shaffer got real nasty, threatened to sue me, and even had someone posing as a police officer to call me with additional threats.

Now this report will be seen by thousands of potential customers for years to come and will not be removed by me for any money in the world.

I think their ability to make a very unique design was outstanding. They maximized the amount of storage we got in a very small space. I would definitely recommend them. Their designers are really creative. The work was done very satisfactorily.

Wire shelving in our laundryroom collapsed. I call a previous vendor for a quote. I felt the quote was very high. I had used Closet center for another project in the past and was pleased. I asked closet center to provide me a quote. The quote I was given for all the work described above was less than the first vendor provided for the laundry room only. The work was done in a very prompt and satisfactory manner and the results and the value they provided is outstanding.

If we could give this company an A+, we would! We shopped around looking for quality and custom design at a good price, and we decided on the Closet Center. Everyone from the owner who designed the closets to the installers was great to work with.

This was an excellent company to work with. The work went well because the measurements were correct and the design was right for the space and for me. They arrived when scheduled and completed work quickly. They cleaned up debris and disposed of old closet fittings. Tom Stasik did an excellent design, and my closets are the envy of all my friends!

Quality job. The design was great. He comes out to your home and draws up the specifications and you approve the plans. In a couple of weeks, they went from estimate to installation.
