Bulldog Fence Of Florida

We recently used Bulldog Fence for a custom weld application to replace the original entry gate on our house. The final product turned out beautiful and the entire Bulldog team was great to work with. Brian and Anthony came out several times to take precise measurements and discuss the type of gate we were looking for. They submitted several designs for us to choose from, all custom. They explained the manufacturing process and were very helpful in choosing the final powder coating color and finish. We were impressed by their knowledge of the product and their attention to detail during the manufacturing and installation process. We had a great experience with Bulldog Fence and highly recommend them.

Our project went great, between Dave our sales rep, Jerry in the office, and James our installer there was very clear communication. Our experience started with Dave who took a great deal of time to explain the different options, process, and answered all of our questions right in the spot, he is extremely knowledgeable. Jerry in the office was on top of our material order and scheduling the install, he was always prompt to return calls and kept us up to date on the progress of the material order. Lastly, James the installer was the best person we have had work on our house yet. His attention to detail is second to none and he kept a very clean work site. We can’t say enough good things about him. He even custom made TREX strips to cover the normal gaps where the gate closes to provide a more finished look / greater privacy. He is a true asset to Bull Dog! This was one of the easiest projects we have ever had completed and one that was done with such an attention to detail! I would recommend Bull Dog to anyone, plus their price was very competitive.

Very happy with the service and the product

There was one nail at top and one nail at the bottom to attach the fence to the house. A small storm and the fence was detached. They want to charge $400+ to reattach and gave an approximation of 2 or more months to come out to fix it. Why aren't there multiple nails attaching it to the home and why don't you guarantee your work?

Spoke to boss about this, workers when asked by a neighbor gave another fence company name. I thought that very fishy and unprofessional. Did not like the arrogance of workers. They install three gates with latches opening from outside rather than inside our fenced in area. One I see since ground was higher. But same in another area and I need another vendor to correct grass so I could open that gate.

I am extremely pleased with the new fence.  The quality of the fence is outstanding and the installers did a great job.  My neighbors fences look bad compared to this one.  The HOA will be very happy.  I would definitely recommend this company.

Did not provide a quality job.  Our community hired them for work in January of 2015.  They caused damage to many of the patios in our community when removing existing fencing and takes no responsibility for it.  Many homeowners are upset and left to pay for their own repairs.  The new fencing that was installed was poorly done.  Uneven fences, posts are not deep enough and therefore the fencing moves, large gaps and no gaps between slats, wood slats that are different sizes, no consistency.  The only consistency is that not one fence in the 5 to 6 buildings they worked on looks good.  I have never seen such a horrible job as this one.  Very unprofessional and lacking in knowledge on how to install fences.  Clearly they have no experience in bidding a job either. Buyer beware.

In response to their response.  My patio was there before I lived there 20 + years.  My patio was not encroaching, the fencing company just did not have the skill to remove or install fencing with out tearing up our existing patios.  The board was also upset but sadly signed a contract without realizing that Bulldog would not be responsible for any damage they caused. There fore they took no care in doing their work.  The owner was absolutely rude.  Buyer beware.

Great job, done quickly and professionally. Lots of good communication from permitting folks and construction crew. Quickly answered all my many questions both on the phone and over e mail. New fence looks beautiful - great curb appeal for my home!

The estimate was provided a day after the initial contact and work started the week that I had signaled was the best time for me. The installation was quick and professional and the office staff courteous. We discussed changes in the plan that had to be made based on new facts associated with the neighbors property. The estimate was reduced accordingly w/o hassle and the work completed within 4 hours. I will use Bulldog Fence of Florida again.

The project came out great, they did a fantastic job on the design and installation. The gates look terrific!! I am very pleased!

Bulldog was efficient and highly professional from the onsite visit to quote to the installation.  We were provided with options and went with a custom design that mirrored the wood gate to be replaced.  The quality of the gate is excellent as was the installation.

Bulldog was recommended to us by our home owners' association as a quality outfit with experience in fencing according to association requirements.  We were pleased with all aspects of the transaction, would recommend Bulldog without hesitation, and will turn to them for future fencing needs.

Horribly.  We signed the contract and gave our deposit in SEPTEMBER, 2012.  At the time, we were told it would take 4-6 weeks to install the fence.  The fence was not completed until APRIL, 2013.  They claimed that the delays were out of their control, but as an experienced fence company, they should have anticipated some of the problems.  For example, we initially ordered a 4 1/2 fence, but city regulations only allow a 4 foot fence.  Not only should they have already known city regulations (after doing my own research, I now know that most cities only allow four foot fences), it took them two weeks to let us know that the permit they filed had been denied.  After the new, lower fence was approved, my service representative promised me that he would order the materials that day.  But, he didn't order the materials for over a week, after the factory deadline for ordering materials before the Christmas holiday.  This caused the materials to be delayed over a month.  The majority of the fence was finally installed in late January, but the final post caps weren't delivered until April.
Additionally, they engaged in some shady dealings with the pricing and invoicing.  We initially ordered a 4 1/2 foot fence with a spiked tops.  Due to city regulations, what was installed was a 4 foot, plain top fence.  However, they sent several invoices for the more expensive fence, which was never installed.  If I hadn't kept records of some original estimates, they would have insisted on charging me for something I didn't receive.
All in all, while the final fence was well installed, I cannot recommend this company to any one, due to their business practices.

They were punctual. He was helpful, and he gave lots of his opinion. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was his prices, as they were considerably higher than all the other quotes I got. We might end up using them. We have been trying to get him to give the quote, and he hasn’t quite got back to us yet, so I would say his responsiveness is average.
