Aladdin Builders

In 2007 we had a complete master bath remodel done by Aladdin Builders. After they were done everything looked very nice, we gave them an A rating. Now less than 5 years later the shower pan starts leaking into the downstairs living room. I called JT Lefftbine  of Aladdin Builders told him of our problem and he came out to our house to have a look. He thought it was maybe a "defective" pan, and promised he wouldn't leave us "hanging" which was exactly what he did.  After many emails and phone calls we gave up and hired another contractor. When the tile guy started removing tiles in the shower thats when we found the problem, problems.  The bench that was built in the shower was poorly installed, they framed it out with 2x4's and nails, the wood was dry rotted and the nails were rusted. But the best part of the job was what he found inside the bench, scrap pieces of wood, tile and drywall, also nails screws and paper.  They used it as a garbage can !  After the tile guy finished the plumber came out to remove the old pan/liner and install a new one.  He also stated and showed me the poor and shoddy workmanship.  I really should not have been surprised Jt did not come back to address the problem.  Shortly after the bathroom was finished one of the cabinets they installed began to crack.  I called JT lefftbine and told him about the problem and he told me he was no longer using the guy who built the cabinet, but that he would try and find some one to fix it.  After a few more phone calls to JT he told me he couldn't find anyone to fix it, I don't think he really tried.  He told me if I could find some one to fix it he would reimburse me.  I had no problem finding some one to fix it, they charged me $134.00  not too much I thought.  I sent a copy of the bill to Jt at Aladdin Builders and nothing, I called him a couple of times and even ran into him at a store where he told me he was "waiting till the first of the year" to send me out a check.  NO check ever came.  There work may look good cosmetically but its whats behind the surface what you don't see thats a problem, and if you do have a problem after they take your money your on your own.  We spent a lot of money on this bathroom and thanks to Aladdin Builders we still are.

JT returned our call promptly and gave a detailed estimate shortly after. The contract was clear cut and was followed with out any issues. JT began work immediately, he said he would be there at 9am and was there at exactly that time. Everything (furniture/flooring) was covered and protected prior to beginning the demolition. His entire staff was nice, professional on time and did quality work. He answered every one of our calls, and addressed all of our concerns throughout the entire project. The work was done neatly and efficiently. Overall we are extremely pleased with his outstanding performance. He met and exceeded our expectations.

The Contractor representative was courteous and knowledgeable in all areas of surfacing, they were able to produce ideas that would save us money and limit the waste factor of the materials. They are very up to date with technology, as they use high tech software to perform the takeoffs (measurements). The project was a complete success and would use them on all of our projects.

A very kind man by the name of JT came out and spent a lot of time with us, that made us feel very comfortable. Then he offered us ways where we can save money to do other projects in our home. The project started on time and finished before schedule and the best thing was no hidden charges! Thank you Aladdin Builders.
