First after doing some research we realized we had been over charged for the product.  After negotiations we did get the price down.
We were told the windows would be installed before mid October, but it was mid November 7th before they got started on the job.  This delayed some other work we were having done.  Then the installer realized one window had not been manufactured correctly and the window was reordered.  They finally came to install the last window just before Christmas.  When I came home and saw what was installed I realized they had put in a window that did obviously did not match the other windows on the front of the house.  When contacted about this they were unwilling to replace it without charging us another $1,000 dollars.  
The only good thing was that the installer did a competent job.  
I would highly recommend you avoid this company.

They arrived at exactly the time they said they would and began working immediately. Didn't stop for breaks or lunch. They were extremely careful in moving furniture,drapes and blinds. Insured work area was completely covered and vacuumed entire area after they were done. You wouldn't have known work was even done on our house that day. George the owner came by twice during the day to insure we were satisfied with the work being done.

This company went far beyond my expectations. They were timely and arrived at the agreed upon time. From the first contact, their professionalism was apparant. When the windows arrived, they came promptl;y and installed them. The owner of the company, George even came over to inspect the work. We later had a small problem with the kitchen window and it was repaired right away. The house seems cooler now and the windows are beautiful. I would deffinately reccomend them to anyone looking for new windows,

This was the first time I have experienced this type of home improvement/modernization without having major problems. Minor change orders were handled with less problems than I personally have encountered (both from a price and a disruption process). With minor exception, this turned out to be the most pleasant experience I have had in my over 70 years lifetime in dealing with home construction/improvement contractors.
I do not hesitate recommending George Watkins DBA as Volusia Home Services LLC for any home improvements or repairs I I have mentioned above. We have other repair projects inside our home that Mr. Watkins was quick to inform us that it was out of the realm of work that he performed but was very helpful in referring us to others.

When George came out to make an estimate, he was very prompt. He brought samples and a heat lamp to demonstrate how the Energy Star windows would work. I found his initial estimate to be a little high but we worked out a deal if I would sign the contract and provide a 10% down payment that day, he would give me a $700 price reduction.
The windows were custom made and required six weeks for delivery.
George used a subcontractor to install my windows but he was on site supervising the work every minute and the crew was fantastic. They went over and above demonstrating care and attention to detail. They even made some minor repairs to the wall and window frames. They took care of everything and when the job was completed, my home was completely back in order and I had nothing to clean up.
Six windows were replaced. The crew arrived 30 minutes early and finished the job in about three and a half hours. The windows were installed in a manufactured home which can make installation a little more involved but the crew handled everything perfectly and the job was done extremely well.
All permits were taken care of ahead of time. The lead installer explained everything I needed to do to be prepared for the city inspection. The city inspector even remarked on the superior quality of the windows and the work done.
I will be replacing the rest of my windows with George in the spring. I have already referred several of my neighbors and George has been out making estimates. He has offered me a finder's fee for any referrals that buy services.

He is very friendly and really knows his business. He is very experienced and actually comes from a family that does the same type of work. He makes sure that he gets all the permits that he needs. His crew is really great as well. He may subcontract some work but they do wonderful work as well. He is very fair and explains everything well. He also knows his materials to knows what to suggest and when to suggest it. A city inspector came out to inspect the windows and said that he never has any problems that George and his company does.

The manager of the condo complex gave them a hard time and George didn't react well. I had to jump in and act as a mediator between our complex manager and George. I was the one who had to get final approval to get them installed; and George kind of threw in the towel. So I was disappointed in this interaction. Once we got everything going I stopped dealing with him and dealt with the installer and I am very satisfied with the work. They did a great job.
