Robert Floyd Moving Svc

Went very well. Robert was even able to tell us what furniture would fit in the apartment they were moving to, since he was very familiar with the facility. We were not going to take their huge kitchen table, but Robert told me it would fit perfectly and it did. That saved us shopping for a new dinette set. Before moving, Robert gave me an estimate over the phone and charged us the agreed upon amount after the move was completed. He was very professional and personable. Nothing was damaged or lost. Everything was handled with care.

Great! They moved everything very quickly with no damage. He quoted me $800 and only charged me $400! He got almost everything into the truck in one load but couldn't quite fit the washer and dryer so he didn't charge me the return trip to go get it, which I thought was very generous.

Mr. Floyd showed up on time with 2 clean cut young men and surveyed the items to be moved. The two young men promptly went to work moving my furniture and shrink wrapping the items that needed extra care. They worked well as a team and at no time, was I afraid that my possessions would be damaged or come up missing. They wasted no time traveling to my new  residence and asked where things needed to be placed. They treated my belongings as if they were their own. Honest and hard working people are difficult to find these days and they are both! I would recommend them to anyone and would definitely hire them again.

Robert, Alex, and Dillon were right on time at 9 am.  They got right to work.  They took great care to see that our furniture and household items were moved with out any damage.  They had great attitudes and were very polite.  They never stopped working until the large storage unit was safely emptied and carefully loaded on the truck.  They took a lunch break and then repeated the whole process unloading the truck at our new home.  I was extremely impressed.  I will use them again to move the rest of our items that are in an apartment.  I would never want to use anyone else.  We have moved many times using mostly national companies and we have never received such great service as we did with Robert Floyd and his team. What a blessing it was to have our cherished items in such good hands.

We had used Robert Floyd Moving Services twice before for our mother in an assisted living situation.  We were thrilled to know he provided services to our new county of residence as he had done such a fantastic job in the past..  He arrived on time for the move however, one of his employees was sick that day, so it was just Robert Floyd and one young man to do the move.  They wrapped our furniture paying particular attention to an antique curved glass china cabinet.  They took great care in handling all of our items both loading and unloading.  Mr. Floyd was very patient as I placed dust ruffles under box springs and changed placement on a couple of furniture pieces.  He is our go-to guy for moving and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to everyone!

I chose the company because they had been contracted 3 years ago by the assisted living community my mother was moving into and they did a great job then. This time they moved me and a week later my mother again. Every aspect of the service for both moves was exceptional, they were prompt, professional, and unlike other companies I have dealt with in the past charged as quoted. He met me in Jacksonville and immediately set to work moving all the furniture and boxes down from her third floor apartment at no extra charge.  They were so fast and efficient, it didn't take near the time I had estimated.  When we arrived home, they did it all in reverse:  fast, efficient and curious.  I highly recommend Robert and his company.

We interviewed two movers from Angies List and decided on Robert Floyd Moving services.  We are so glad we did because this was an overall excellent experience.  We had small things packed in boxes but they did wrap our art work and were careful with our things so nothing was damaged.  They were on time, well organized and effecient.  They moved us from Port Orange to New Smyrna Beach.  Even though the move took longer than first estimated they were willing to honor the original extimate.  This is an honest and effecient moving company.  I would highly recomment them.

We had bad experiences with other people and this company was recommended to us. As it turns out they were really good. They send two or three people in the truck and are there when they are supposed to be. This company gets it all done and is very reasonable. They were very nice and listen to you. Moving can be an unsettling experience but they were very good and I will use them again in the future.
