John's Custom Tileworks

I called John's Custom Tile on the recommendation of a contractor friend. My friend had actually used John to tile his own home, so I knew the work would be good. I called and John came out to give me an estimate on tiling my whole home (2100 sq. ft.+) including the Lanai room.
John came out as promised on the day and time he said he would. He took thorough measurements of our home and asked what Tile we wanted to use. We mentioned there was one at Home Depot we had our eye on and showed him the sample we had. He immediately told us he could get a similar tile, cheaper if we would like. John brought a sample by in the next few days and we indeed liked it as much as the one from HD. At that point we got an official bid from him and decided to proceed with the work.
He came out on the day and time promised with an assistant. They proceeded to start where I designated and had quite a bit of the work in that area finished by the end of the day. As the week proceeded they made good progress through the whole home. John is a man of his word: He shows up when he says he will, does what he says he will do. The project took the better part of two weeks to complete but John was there EVERY DAY, including working a holiday to try to finish an area before the painters came in.
The tile is excellent! I cannot say enough good about this company and it's owner, John Mondor. All I can tell you is hire them for your tile job. Yes, you can always find cheaper, but you won't find better.

John installed new tile in our foyer. The project included; removing the existing tile, sealing an existing crack in the slab, helping us design the new tile layout and installing the new tile. John is an excellent communicator and was very helpful with picking a new design for our entry. The final design required accents and numerous cut tiles. John was meticulous with his cuts and the layout looks fabulous!
