Exterior Painting, General Remodeling
He gave us a high estimate originally, and we said it was too much. He dropped the estimate to $8,000 plus paint and equipment so we decided to hire him. By the time everything was added up it was over $17,000. He charged us to rent a lift from Home Depot for over $4,000 and he didn't even use the high quality paint that we purchased. He did not show up half the time and in the end we had to hire a different company to complete the job. I let him know that I thought we were overcharged for the lift, but he defended himself saying we only agreed to the labor charge. We ended up having the cops come out and he's not allowed on the property anymore.
