After removing washer I noticed black residue on floor and a nut on the floor. He hadn't moved washer at all. After taking washer into garage, I turned on side and noticed belt was loose and plastic cover was broken. I offered washer to friend and when he came to get it. He put belt on washer and we ran it and it seemed function ok. I told him to take it away anyway.

Anyway, I feel I was ripped off and obviously wasn't paying attention.

Everything went perfect.

Put in faucet and shower head in bathroom

He came on time and with all items needed for the repair.

Called Coleman Appliance and Repair this morning (Monday) at 8:10. Larry asked the make of dryer and what the problem was. He said he would be at our house in 30 minutes. He was here in 20 minutes and went to work. After unplugging and disassembling the appliance, Larry vacuumed everything that was exposed. I couldn't believe the amount of dust and dirt that had accumulated. Very quickly, Larry identified the problem. The dryer needed a new thermal fuse. He went to find a replacement in his truck and when that didn't materialize, he called a parts distributor that had the necessary part. Larry was gone and back in 30 minutes with the new fuse. In minutes, the new fuse was in place and the dryer reassembled. It was plugged in and voila, when he turned on the control, the dryer was purring and heating like it should. It sure pays to check Angie's List first.

The appliance repair service I usually work with apparently went out of business. I turned to Angie's list and found Coleman's Appliance and Repair. Called a couple of other company but their service call fees were very high. Larry asked what the issue was, gave me a ball park and came within 7 dollars of what he quoted.

The fridge had occasionally been leaking water from the freezer side onto the floor but we were getting ready to make a trip up north to tend to family business so I figured I'd call a repair person when we got back. We came home late Friday night from the two week trip to find the refrigerator had stopped cooling/freezing while we were gone. I looked a repairman up on Angies's list and called him expecting to get someone to come out in three or four days. He said he would be there first thing Saturday morning. He was very prompt. He checked it out and said the compressor was bad and installed a new one. He didn't seem to check anything about the leak maybe assumed it had been leaking from the compressor going bad. After it started leaking again and getting noisier I called repair man to come back. Again he was very prompt. Said the drain was frozen and unthawed it with a hairdryer. He check out the noisiness but said that it sounded like vibration and maybe the fridge was just getting old. He said that unless it stopped working again not to worry about it. Some times the noise gets on my nerves but is better than having to get a new appliance. He did charge me a regular fee for coming back. I figured he would consider it part of the first visit or give me a price break because he didn't fix/unthaw the leak the first time and it must have been frozen then. Overall it was a good experience and I would have him back and I would recommend him to others.

Ice Maker went out I looked on Angies list since I had never used it before for a Appliance repair man. I am sick of being took by people coming to your house and giving you a outrageous price. I was thinking about going out and buying a new frig but I thought I would give this a try first. I called Larry and asked him up front if you have to replace the whole ice maker could I have a ball park figure on what it would cost to replace, he said 150.00 dollars so I thought thats fair for him to come to my house and replace the whole ice maker if it needs to be replaced. Did I have to wait long HECK no he was here within a hour fixed it for me at the price he stated on phone and even fixed my leaking gasket at no extra cost. He called the next day to make sure all was ok. How could you ask for more than that.. Larry is a older man been in the appliance business for years retired and then came back to have something to do. He was wonderful from start to finish i hope you will have the same experience

Larry ran a little late because he had gotten a flat tire along the way and was waiting for a tow truck to get him. He checked in to let me know it was taking longer than he thought but he would be here. He arrived at my house, came in got busy, explained to me the problems with the fridge and what he would do to fix it and did it. ( Most of us after sitting in 100 degree heat on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck and late for an appointment may have a sour attitude... Not Larry!) He was kind, sincere, and professional with a wonderful southern charm! Thank you Larry!

Came the next day after I called. found bad fuse in 15 minutes and fixed it. No problems.

Mr. Larry Coleman KNOWS his repairs. This is exactly happened; 1. I called and he asked me what kind of stove do I have and I told him. Then asked me what's the problem and I told him. Quote me a price in seconds (no beating around the bush) and I said O.K. Don't forget this is over the phone and he didn't even see my stove yet. Amazing! 2.Came over with the part, repaired it.(that took 5 minutes) 3. Wrote the service bill and I paid him. 4. Said Thank you, have a wonderful holiday and left (probably onto the next repair).

It was an excellent experience.

He is not as expensive as other plumbers and that is why I have used him over the years. He is prompt and honest.
