Bo came to my house and gave me an estimate on having several trees and bushes trimmed. We negotiated a price. The next day, I was called an hour before they were to arrive at my home. Tom, the foreman, came to my home with Daniel, Christine and Justus. They trimmed my trees exactly the way I wanted them trimmed. They were professional, friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. My yard was cleaned up perfectly when they were done.

I would NOT recommend HIRING APEX ARBORCARE LLC, doing business as Apex Arbor Care, under any circumstances. Forewarned is Forearmed! I gave them a 1 star as it’s the lowest you can give. Otherwise I would have given them a T for Terrible! In February 2022, I hired Apex Arbor Care to trim 3 queen palms, 2 in the front yard and 1 between my house and my neighbor’s, plus remove a dead palm. Being a tree trimming company you would think they would had the tools and equipment to handle the job they had been hired to do. However the 2 workers showed up without a ladder long enough to get to the top of the palms. Instead they drove their heavy, double axle truck onto my side yard in order to put their ladder on top of the company truck to get enough height to reach the top of the palm. Driving the heavy truck over my lawn broke my sprinkler system as well as my neighbor’s in several areas due to the weight of the truck crushing the underlying pipes, valves and sprinkler head. They also drove their truck onto my front yard to trim the other 2 palms and in the process broke the company truck windshield while standing on the truck hood with their ladder in order to get enough height to reach the limbs to be trimmed. Needless to say, the employees were ill equipped, highly unprofessional and downright negligent in the manner of trimming the palms with their actions causing extensive sprinkler damage. I spoke with Don Mead, the owner several times on the phone. He first sent out a “handyman” to take a look at the damage. This handyman showed up without even a shovel to dig up the area to see the damage. Instead I let him use my shovel. Needless to say he didn’t fix the damage but said he would have to contact Mr. Mead about how to proceed. I never heard from this person again. I called Don Mead and he said he would follow up with the handyman. That was the last I heard from anyone about fixing the damage. I finally hired a reputable sprinkler repair company to fix the damage and in 2 separate letters to Don Mead have requested reimbursement of the significant sprinkler repair bill. Not surprising, I haven’t heard from Mr. Mead. I highly recommend NOT HIRING this company. Check out the reviews from Central Florida Better Business Bureau. [*** Link removed ***]
