Mr. Baez was very friendly and acted professionally at the start. He rebuilt the shower drain as required, and laid PVC liner. We noticed that the corners of the PVC liner seemed to be nailed too high; there would be no way for the concrete to fill in to the corners of the shower. He lowered the PVC as requested so the corners were not so rounded. Mr. Baez poured the concrete and we waited several days for it to dry. A week later, we noticed a hollow sound in several areas when we walked on the concrete, and it didn't seem to be nearly thick enough. When I called, he said it was normal but would come out to check. However, after checking he noticed, not only the hollow areas, but that the entire shower pan was shifting as we walked on it. He promised it would be done over. As it was obvious Mr. Baez did not know how to construct a shower pan, he called in someone else to pour the concrete after he removed the concrete he had poured. Both men came to talk about it before the installation, and both argued with me about several safeguards I had read about online, such as testing for leaks 24 hours after the install. An appointment date was set for the installer to return and do the work. The installer never showed up at the appointed time, nor did either man call. The following week, Mr. Baez called to let us know that he just found out the his installer never showed up. By this time, we had no faith in the company and had given up on Aguaworks. I asked for my money back (minus the $100 for the completed drain). Mr. Baez replied, by letter, that he would not return our money, but would complete the job. Since the PVC liner had gone through a great deal of abuse by this time (recommendations I read said not to even walk on the PVC liner since you could poke a hole in it), we agreed to let them finish if they started over with a new liner. Mr. Baez never responded, I still don't have a shower pan, and he kept the full amount we paid him.
