I had a disappointing experience with Plumbing experts. They arrived to address a plumbing issue, but I was taken aback by the way they handled the situation. Instead of consulting with me about the necessary repairs and costs, they proceeded to do the work without seeking my approval. When I received the invoice ($880 to fix a toilet seal leak), I was shocked by the high charges. It felt like I was taken advantage of, as I had no opportunity to weigh my options or decide if I wanted to proceed with the work. Communication is essential in such services, and I left feeling disregarded and frustrated. I would caution others considering their services to ensure clear communication beforehand. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Plumbing experts based on my experience. Transparency and customer consent are vital, and I did not feel like a valued client.

I was not at home. The plumber from Plumbing Experts said he replaced parts in the tank with new ones and also loosened the handle on the shut off valve. This was in August and this week the same toilet had the same problem. Of course the warranty was 30 days only so I called another plumbing company. I then was here myself and saw the parts that had been called new when installed but certainly appeared to have been in use for much more than two months.450.00

The gentleman Carlos on the phone was very professional and the receptionist was very polite. We determined the appropriate replacement and agreed on a price which was lower than Home Depot by about $200 + dollars. A coupon in the local flyer for 10% was cheerfully redeemed after we determined the final price. So no funny business! The installer, Barry was super nice and very professional. Was careful and cleaned up when finished. One of the best experiences yet.

Doing a complete bathroom remodel. Checked with several different plumbing companies and all were extremely expensive and none would come to our home to discuss with us or to give an accurate estimate. Then, through Valpak we found The Plumbings Experts. I called and they were extremely professional and pleasant. They made an appointment to have a plumber come to our home to review our project. Alex was the plumber who came to meet with us. He was punctual, professional and thorough. While their price was in line with our other quotes, the Valpak discount made them less costly. Plus they included some extras that we needed done - extras that the other companies wanted to charge us $500 for! Alex made three trips to our home to complete our project. I can honestly say this is the best experience I have ever had with ANY plumber or plumbing company. They were completely professional, thorough and responsive to our every need. They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves, removing all debris and trash and even vacuuming their work areas. I cannot praise Alex and his company enough. We highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for future plumbing needs.

Terrible, service tech was polite. That is the good part. Everything else was terrible, from the telephone receptionist to non call back from the owner etc. Lose their number.

My tenant called this company to come route the line.  I was shocked that he quoted $450 to route out a line and even more shocked when the charge to my credit card was $539 for a 20 minute job.  Would never use this company again and gave the tenant other companies to use in the future.

They did a great job and were very personable. They did an extraordinary job and perfection is what they strived for every time they came to my house. They were patient and had excellent customer service. When they said they would call back they would actually do so.

We were getting a new washing machine on 2/7/2013. On 2/6/2013 the old machine was moved and the drain pipe just fell apart from age. We called Plumbing Experts Inc. and they came out in a few hours. They replaced the washer drain pipe with a clamp and pvc pipe They also replaced a faucet and capped off two old water lines. Later that same eveing we noticed that one of the capped lines was leaking. The next morning they returned and fixed the problem. Later that day we discovered that two of our toliets and the cold water in the sinks did not work. When we called the office they told us they would come out the next morning. When we told them that would not work for us, the young lady became very short with us. Later that day the service person called us and said that he probably did not turn a valve back on. He then instructed us on how to find the valve and how to turn the cold water back on. We feel the service was fast but not of good quality.  The price also seemed too high.

We called to get an estimate on removing and/or replacing a garbage disposal and installing new pipes for the sink and drain.  Technician explained our options in detail and completed the job in a professional and courteous manner.  The labor cost is a little high, but we had excellent service.

Plumber arrived on time with the equipment ordered.  Agreed on the spot to replace leaking hose bibbs at a reasonable price after installing the hot water heater.  Destroyed a folding table that was preventing access to the installation.  There was a plank ontwo brackets above the washer/dryer and to the left of the hot water heater.  Instead of sliding the plank down, he proceeded to saw off about 6 inches of it.  While on the premises to install the hot water heater, the city inspector drove bye and asked for the permit.  Of course, the company had not pulled a permit but told the inspector they had requested it that morning.  He promptly got on the phone to his office and told them to pull the permit and turned to me and said it would not be any additional cost and that I should have it by Friday, 9 November.  It is 2 weeks later and I still don't have a permit.  Now that the city has a record of it, they will hound me for it for years and years.  He also replaced one bibb that was not leaking and failed to replace one that was. While hot water heater was professionally installed and the plumber personable and clean, I doubt that I will use them again.

I hired Expert Plumber To install single lever water valve for future washing machine installation. The work included Opening the wallboard to add extension to relocate the water valve a few feet. Cost $429. While plumber was on sight I noticed leak under 2 of the 3 bathroom sinks. Expert Plumber took a Look and told me new traps were installed incorrectly by previous owner. I suspect the new sinks were not installed by professional plumbers. Although only two sinks were leaking I asked him to also change the third trap too avoid future leaks. Cost $297.00. The next day both sinks were still leaking. I called the Expert Plumber back to fix them. He told me the real problem was that the new sinks had cheap plastic pop- ups that just didn't fit right. He could replace with metal but the cost would be $200 a piece for these littlle metal parts. I was shocked at the price and questioned him whether the pop ups come with new sinks. He told me they do but if I buy a sink at Home Depo, they will all come with these cheap plastic pop ups. I felt I had no alternative so I paid him $600 for these pop ups. I went to Home Depo the next day and was told I had been ripped off by Expert Plumber. Home Depo employee said I should report him to the better business burea because no pop-up costs $200. HomeDepo hi end sinks By Koehler cost only$150 and of course come with metal pop- ups. I give expert plumbers an F for cost and sales tactics.

Cost $49 just for the estimate.
Estimate said $250 for all material and labor.
$35 was added later for a plastic handle which costs less than $5 at Home Depot.
$323 for 10 minutes worth of work.
Should have waited for Roto Rooter

The woman who answered the phone was courteous and professional.  She said she could send someone right away.  He arrived promptly, assessed the situation and advised me of the cost.  He was also courteous and professional.    He went right to work up on the roof.  He periodically checked the water flow in the house to see his progress.  He did not leave until he was sure the block was gone.  I was really impressed with this company  and would call them again for any plumbing need.

They have been in business for 32 years. I had a toilet that did not flush properly and I thought it needed a new flap. The plumber from Plumbing Experts inspected it and told me that I needed a whole new mechanism and that it would cost me around $200. I told him that rather than spend that kind of money I would just get a new toilet. They gave me a quote for a new toilet which came to around $500. After comparing with another store I realized that Plumbing Experts were charging exorbitantly. They did explain to me over the phone before they came out that they charge by what is done, and not by the hour. The job was for either repairing the mechanism of the toilet or getting a new toilet. I said I was not interested, and he proceeded to write an invoice for a full service fee. I reminded him that I had a $32 coupon of theirs, and he corrected it to show that. I paid him the service fee less the coupon. I wanted to report about him to the Better Business Bureau, but I never got around to it. I had gotten a handyman to put a new flapper, and it has been working fine for over a year now. Plumbing Experts was a complete rip-off. I had also met another woman who had a bad experience with Plumbing Experts.

We could hear water running in the pipes but there was no indication of water leakage in the house, so we started going through the phonebook to find a plumber who could come out and do a leak detection. Unfortunately it was a Friday night and most of the plumbers could not come out until Monday. The Plumbing Experts were able to come out the next day and arrived exactly at the time scheduled. They detected the leak in a very short period of time and we scheduled the repair for Monday. Again, they arrived on time and began digging the hole in the foundation slab to get to the pipe. The leak was exactly where they detected it so damage to our floor was minimized. It turns out the pipe was galvanized steel and could not be repaired without significant damage to the floor so it was decided to re-run the pipe through the attic and we scheduled the work for the next day. They arrived the next day on time and began work. In the end we had to run all new piping throughout because all the plumbing in the house branched off of the original broken pipe. This was a very expensive repair but turned out to be covered by my homeowner's insurance. The plumber spoke to the insurance representative on the phone prior to starting work and received the approval to begin and he met with the adjustor the next day. They also fixed several other plumbing problems created by the previous owner's attempts at DIY repairs at no additional charge. The plumber was very neat and organized...in fact when I had the drywall contractor in to repair the walls that had to be opened to install the pipes, he commented on how neat and professional the work was. The plumber also took the time to explain everything to me in great detail so that I understood exactly what needed to be done and also offered less expensive alternatives.

They came out and I paid extra for weekend rates both times, which I agreed to as I work during the week. Both times it was pricey but I liked the tech and the work was high quality. If I could have them come during the week and pay regular rates it would be great! Overall it was expensive-but worth it.
