I hired Ty based on his good rating. I needed a door replaced. He quoted me a labor price which I agreed to without haggling. He was late but did the job, getting me a discounted door, which is good, and the job was done well. However, after doing the job he asked for $20 more. I paid it but expressed my displeasure with that and he apologized. I then asked him to quote another more substantial job for a vacant rental unit. He looked at the unit with me Sunday and said he would send the quote by Thursday. He never did. I then called him Friday, and he said he forgot, confirmed he did want the job, and would send it that night. He again didn’t send it. I called and texted Monday and again on Tuesday, no response at all. We have lost a week turning over the apartment due to this lack of responsiveness and professionalism. I now need to get another handyman.
