+ 1 moreScott and Simonee discovered an issue with the initial project and determined that a lot of additional work would be required. They were so honest, responsive and helpful. Recognizing the cost of getting the work done, they made other recommendations which meant they would not get the job. This despite spending time coming on site for the initial inspection, coordinating with plumbers and electricians, and other time spent on the project. While I did not use them for this project - I would have absolutely no hesitation to use them for any other work I needed done. It is good to see there are honest people out there!
Description of Work: Due to a code violation, I needed some work done to remove a shed at an investment property. Once the shed was removed, that required major plumbing and electric work to relocate water heaters which would have been left unprotected on the exterior of the house.

Description of Work: The Mulheron group has worked on multiple projects for me and my family. They have remodeled my mother's bathroom and hung several doors. She was quite pleased between her new vanity, walls, and shower enclosure with the job in the Foreman's and the cleanliness as to which they handled and tackle the project. I am also use the Mulheron group to remodel my house after seeing the outstanding job they did at my mother's. They redid the floors, my bathroom, and my kitchen. He had no problem with us picking everything out and purchasing it. We were under a severe time crunch as my wife was due to give birth within a month after our house got flooded. They help move furniture, did the demo and sectioned everything off to keep the dust down they put everything back once the project was completed and even cleaned. My wife and I enjoy our new floors, the remodeled bathroom and the more spacious storage in the kitchen. We would definitely recommend it to anyone.

+ 0 moreHaving survived building 3 new homes and 4 previous remodeling projects, this was the easiest. Scott provided pictures of each stage of the remodel as we were out of state during the majority of the remodeling. He kept us up to date with text and emails also. As with most large remodeling projects, the changes and unforeseen problems moved the finish date, but like any good home building or remodeling project, just add 50% to the anticipated finish and you will be on target. The result of all this was a beautiful and very functional condo for us to live in, and has been the talk of the other tenants with a constant stream of neighbors coming to look and admire the work that was performed. We are very happy with Scott, and used him to upgrade our father in laws condo the next year. Again, the Mulheron Group performed to our expectations with a fair price. I highly recommend Scott and his team at The Mulheron Group for any construction or remodeling projects.
Description of Work: Scoot Mulheron of the Mulheron Group in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl was selected from a bid list of 8 contractors. Although he was not the lowest bidder, he was competitive in his pricing. What made him stand out was his very professional manner and knowledge of the task, which was to completely gut a high rise condo and remodel it. I provided him a very detailed list of all the changes we wanted, including the installation of an additional bathroom, additional closet and total redo of the master bath to include new jet tub and separate glass shower and double sink vanity. Scott uses a laptop to go over all the details with you as you walk through during the bid process and provides great feedback and suggestions...more so than any of the other contractors. All of the work was done as requested, and those two unforeseen glitches (hidden pipes and electrical conduits) were fairly priced. Scott will submit a Change Order for any new task or change before he moves forward. This allows you to review and discuss anything up front, and no surprises later. The finished product was done with highest standards of materials. Scott worked with the suggested subcontractors for the plumbing, cabinets and electrical wiring, making sure all were to city codes. Also, for those that do live in condos and know that there are many rules for the demolition and construction process, Scott complied with all the rules.

+ -1 moreHe got a permit for the electrical and his subcontractor was efficient, timely and professional following all my requests. The Mulheron Construction crew did a great job in a timely manner. Since the rebuild required a bit of demolition there were a few surprises which Mulheron review with me and they were all resolved to my satisfaction. Mulheron Construction has done remodeling for me over the past 5 years and I would not consider working with any other company.
Description of Work: Rebuilt walls, refinished walls, reinforced foundation, rewired & installed electrical panel in work shop.
