Sunset Moving & Storage

Sunset Moving was great (Fritz and his crew moved my entire family in one day)! My only complaint is that the company upsold and charged me 40$ for two mattress covers last minute as I was giving them my deposit. I was told that I would be able to keep the covers for my next move to save me the trouble. Upon arrival, the movers didn't have them and when I spoke with the person accepting my final CC payment, was told that mattress covers were never an option and that they always 'shrink wrap' the mattresses and was not given a refund. A little disappointed upon spending so much money to be dooped out of 40$ additional bucks. That being said, they showed up on time for both the estimate and move and delivered what was promised as far as 3 guys, a truck, and lots of padding and packing! They all had great attitudes, were respectful of all of our things and I would use them again

They were wonderful. The job actually cost me less than what they had quoted me. They worked very quickly, and they got the job done in a hurry. Nothing got broken. They were just great. The experience was as good as moving can be. They gave me boxes without charging me. I had had an unfortunate moving experience before this one, but this one wasn't like that. They showed up on time.

Initially I made contact on the phone from Ohio and thought everything was in place for the move. I was quoted a price based on my description of the move. I experienced some frustration with this as my initial email went unanswered. I called and thought everything was arranged. When I called back to confirm before we headed down to Florida, I went through several different people until I found someone who was aware of what had been discussed and was told everything was set up. Two days before the move, at 4PM, I received frantic emails and phone messages from Steve,telling me to contact them or they would cancel the service. I had not dealt with anyone named Steve and immediately called and was told that he had to come out to give me an estimate. He came out the next day and told us (and he was right) that we would need four men not three and needed extra insurance for our artwork, We worked it all out and signed a contract. After all of this I have to say the actual move was a delight. the men could not have been more professional or hard working. When our bed frame would not fit in the freight elevator they carried it up eight flights of stairs. They did not leave until everything was exactly where we wanted it to be and everything was reassembled.

excellent. four huge men showed up on the dot and worked hard & fast to move our belongings. they took a 10 minute break in the middle of the 8 hour day, it was 100 degrees outside and they pushed on full energy until the very last piece was exactly where we needed it to be. they were quiet & focused, polite and knew exactly what they were doing. they had tape and boxes for all the extra stuff no one ever plans for & were extremely kind and accommodating to every need. we've moved many times - they are THE BEST. To boot - a few days after the move a lady called to say she was going to refund my cc 135.00 because they were done slightly earlier than they originally quoted us...maybe a 1/2 hour early. unbelievable for this type of work in today's market! loved them!

My problems were with the driver who played games with my shipment timing, and did not check to make sure all of our items were off-loaded. If I had not asked, I would be missing several more items rather than just our $600.00 pressure washer. Sunset did not help me resolve the issue. I called them twice. Driver kept me waiting an entire day, not calling to tell me that he wasn't going to make it until 3:45. Told Sunset that I had agreed to an extension of a full week, which I had not. He cost me valuable time and much money due to change fees on an international plane ticket.

Great overall! From Sue giving me quick/easy/efficient/competitive quote to the guys showing up exactly when they said they would and delivering the load in less than a week. Very impressed. Have moved alot w/corporate and they were much more on the ball. Would definitely use them again.

The appraisal was for moving a total bedroom was $670 for the moving. They also brought a crate to hold her television. The movers were very courteous, and we were out of her apartment by 12:30 p.m. and into her new place within forty-five minutes. They were on time and excellent.

This was my most expensive estimate by $300 but it was a fixed price so I knew the price wouldn't go up further. The office staff was very helpful and accommodating, answered all my questions, and confirmed the move prior to move date. The movers, two, were on-time, well spoken, polite and worked rapidly and knew what they were doing. The move to Boca was accomplished by 2 p.m. and the truck was packed up for Orlando where it was delivered on time the next morning at 7:30 a.m. The entire experience was excellent! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Finally, a moving company that knows what it is doing!!! BRAVO!

The estimator arrived for a pre-move estimate exactly on time and calculated a guaranteed price within 30 minutes. Although this was a last minute move, they were able to schedule my move on the day I wanted (within five days of the estimate). The crew showed up exactly on time for the move. They meticulously wrapped and packed each item to a level I have never seen in any previous move. It was as if they valued my stuff more than I did! They wrapped every item, not just the ones I asked for packing service; even my couch and love seat. I'd never have movers do that before. They arrived at the new house right on time and were very happy to put things wherever I wanted them. They didn't hurry me and asked if I was sure everything was where I wanted it. Overall it was the best moving experience I ever had, bar none.
