+ 0 moreI requested quotes and got lots of texts and voicemails on Saturday. I tried calling them back. I had 2 that could come later in the week, one for an estimate, the other for the job. Ray from South Shore was the first to call me back on Saturday but my phone was messed up so I missed him. I called him Sunday and left a message and he called back on Monday-I told him about the special price quoted here on Angie's List by another plumber and he matched it. And he came and did the work an hour later. He was professional, efficient and we have a nice new water heater with a 6 year warranty.

Description of Work: My water heater (80 gallon) in garage leaked and flooded into the guest bedroom. I had called numerous companies that morning and all of the estimates were over $1100 and they were not able to come out until later that day or the next day or I had to leave messages on voice mail. I called South Shore Plumbing and Larry, the owner, answered immediately. He said he was in the neighborhood and since I had a flooding problem he could come right over to take a look without any obligation to purchase from him. He arrived 20 minutes later. His cost for the same exact brand, model, and size water heater was over $100 less than other estimates I had received. In addition, he did some additional work regarding removing old water heater timers the previous owners had installed and he did not charge me extra. Larry is very professional and friendly. I have used him for other work in my house on numerous occasions and he has always exceeded my expectations.

+ -1 moreThey did a very good job. They were consciences and hard working. They would come back and take care of any problems and any job. Their quality of work is of high quality. They were not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. They are busy and in demand. I would use them in the future.
Description of Work: I used South Shore Plumbing about a year ago. They did some general plumbing. They installed new toilet, some work on the refrigerator, and dishwasher.

+ -1 moreI had new granite kitchen counter tops installed with new appliances. I was concerned that the kitchen remodeling would create a major plumbing issue. South Shore was recommended to me by the sink supplier for consultation. I spoke to Larry on the phone about my concerns. He explained to me that he could replace the plumbing pipes without any difficulty and all would be fine. Larry arrived as scheduled after my new granite counter tops were installed. All his work was done to perfection. He was very professional and careful in keeping the kitchen work area clean of any dirt and debris. Larry provided excellent advice and suggestions that made the new kitchen even better. He is the BEST.
Description of Work: Larry the plumber had to refit all the plumbing beneath a new larger sink, provided and installed a new garbage disposal, assemble and install a new faucet, and install a new dishwasher. He also had to hook up the refrigerator water and ice line. Larry the plumber was on time and very reasonably priced.
