QUALITY PROPERTY

We have been using them for a while.. they are also a property maintenance company.  Their service was great in the beginning but now they are a substandard company.  Hedges were hacked like a child did it, left mulch in the pool, chairs on lawn were not replaced where they were and they broke our alarm sign.
They don't return your phone calls either.

I guess it has been over a year since I met with Paul, then owner of Quality Landscaping. He was pleasant and got to work immediately on correcting the damage from my previous maintenance company. I had mentioned that I don't want the clippings in the pool and that was the other specific reason for terminating my relationship with the previous contractor. After Paul started maintaining the lawn, it was looking so good that I got rid of the lawn bug maintenance man. About four months ago I started receiving calls from a Mr. Marano (not Paul) and what appears to be his wife. The service now stinks, they do or do not edge, they do or do not spray for weeds. They hack away at my palms, spray weed killer on my orchids, trim the hedges with no care to my pool and have attitudes. I called and politely asked that they keep the trimmings out of my pool and had to call someone in to clean out the skimmer because the pool started to lose suction. My pool maintenance man comes every Friday 8:00 am sharp. During this conversation with Mr. Marano, I asked that he not cut on Fridays because this is the only day I don't have to clean the pool and for him to schedule the cut either on Thursdays or Saturday, but not on Fridays. He agreed. They now show up on Fridays. I never received a address correction when Mr. Marano took over. The checks are sent through the bank. Last month I get a invoice showing that I had not paid. I have to call the bank to ask them to stop payment since no one has received the check. The check had been sent to the wrong address since I had never been told they had changed it. I change the bank records and issued another check. I get a call from them asking why I stopped payment on the first check - Because they told me it was lost. Today is Friday, the crew showed up after my pool guy left - and yes there is grass in my pool. I have terminated my relationship with this company as of this morning.

I don't know what happened to them.  They were servicing me for almost 1 year.  Then out of a sudden, they disappeared.  THe owner, Paul Rodrigues, would not answer my calls, until I called from an unknown number to him.  He picked up, but told me right away that he was with a customer and could not talk to me and asked to call back.  Never did.  I called him several times to attempt to pay them since they were billing me but had not showed up (they came once a month).  

I have no idea what happened but I am extremely disappointed as you cannot just do this to a customer.  I al left with having to look for another company.  He's the reason why I joined Angie's List and I am the first one to rate him on his bad professionalism.
