His son answered the call and told me that it would be 100 dollars to come to my house and look at the washer. I agreed and the father and son team showed up. They inspected my washer and told me that it would be too expensive to repair and that I needed to get a new one. My appliances all match and I did not want to have to replace every appliance in my home because of a washer. They did not discuss with me if I was willing to pay to have it repaired. They told me I could keep using it until it totally broke. Meanwhile every time I use it the floor filled up with water. I got on the internet and found another appliance shop and they changed 65 dollars to come out and look at my washer. They said it was a big job but they had the part at the shop. I agreed to let them take it to the shop and repair my washer. They repaired it in less than 24 hours and returned it to me in like new condition. It was not 500 dollars like prestige told me and the machine works like new.
