Asphalt Shingle Roofing Installation and Replacement

The signed contract with Jovil Roofing specifies a 15 year warranty with the former owner of my house. We notified Jovil Roofing well in advance of the sale of the house and as such all rights, titles, and warranties were transferred to me in the purchase. Jovil Roofing refused to acknowledge the warranty transfer unless we paid $750. According to their signed contract there are no restrictions on the warranty transfer and no fees for the charge, and all rights, titles and warranties had already been transferred to me via the contract for sale, so we asked them to transfer it without the $750 charge. They became irate and obstinate and are now refusing to speak to or work with either of us or honor their warranty. I am not an attorney but I believe Jovil Roofing action constitutes a breach of contract, tortious interference, breach of warranty and violation of their Certified Roofing Contractor license: Licensee Information Name: ORREGO VILCHIZ, VERONICA (Primary Name) JOVIL
