They are very good. My air conditioning went out and it was 85 degrees in the house. They were out here within an hour and arrived at 10:30 pm. I would highly recommend them and I have a maintenance agreement with them as well.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! We called Cousins for a routine maintenance visit of our 2 year old A/C. The first tech provided what we thought was routine maintenance. The next day the unit stopped working. We called back and they sent a second tech who said we needed a new thermostat. They replaced the thermostat which did no good. A third tech was sent out and discovered the unit had no freon due to a hole in the evaporator coil. They charged us $1153 in addition to the almost $300 for a maintenance agreement. We had not had any trouble with the unit until we made the mistake of calling this company. The first technician obviously caused the damage to the coil during his visit. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY AS IT WILL COST YOU A FORTUNE AND THEY WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR UNTRAINED TECHNICIANS.

After researching reviews for 6 authorized dealers for our current a/c system, I called Cousin's Air to buy an annual maintenance agreement, where they would checking out and our system every 6 months. When Alyson took my call, she clearly and succinctly explained the program. Of the 6 companies researched, her approach was the most professional. I scheduled an appt., our technician, Kyle B. arrived on time, wore booties to cover his shoes and protect our floors. Great first maintenance visit for an old A/C system! Our technician, Kyle B., was knowledgeable, thorough, explained the process every step of the way, answered our questions, and cleaned up after himself. Glad we called Cousin's Air.

The sales guy picked the wrong unit and crush the existing duct work at home. It can't cool down my bedroom and it cost me additional charges for the electric bill. When the guy came out today, he said "I don't understand why they did not put the 'low pressure valve'." They did not install the unit properly. So they selected a wrong size for the attic. And it did not fit without crushing the duct work. They are 30% higher than anybody else because of their good standing with Angie's List. Their concern is that I didn't complain last winter.

Richard from Cousin's air was absolutely great! He unclogged two units (one in the attic) from with emergency service and replaced a broken thermostat. I would like to mention this was EMERGENCY services and Richard did not take advantage at all. Honest, methodical and reasonable! I thank him and Cousin's air. Richard was very professional, friendly and showed up within the 3 hour appointment window. My original appointment was earlier but was cxl and rescheduled by the office. Apparently, one unit was a little low on coolant and I was charged an additional $50 for 1lb of coolant. My problem is that it clearly states on their web page that included with their maintenance tasks are; "Checking coolant levels; adding coolant, if necessary". I feel as though I was misled, hence the c rating I left. I know this was not on Richard, he did state he contacted the office to verify and was told they charge for coolant. Not satisfied and would not do business again.

Real professionals. Showed up on time and ready. Did a quality install and cleaned up when they were done. Their supervisor stopped by about 4 hours in to make sure everything was ok. My condo was built 30 years ago and when the job was done the closet with the air handler looks like it's in a new home. Not the least expensive price but well worth the money.

Showed up on time with multiple installers (last tuesday original company hired to do the job was late 4 hours each of the two days they actually did show, did not bother to show up or even call the 3rd day leaving and incomplete and leaking unit in our attic up and with only sent 1 installer!).
Cousins Install could not have been smoother. Very professional crew, worked the entire time here and did clearly an excellent job. We will recommend them to anyone, in fact they will be quoting us on a large job at our business very shortly. I am sorry we did not listen to our neighbors who recommended them first. Live and learn!

4/2015 UPDATE: I am updating my originally steller review due to some recent issues with Cousins. I replaced 1 broken thermostat with 2 smart wifi Carrier thermostats. This was one day after they came to do normal maintenance on my units. The new thermostats were unreasonably expensive at 750+ a piece (and that was with a 10% maintenance agreement discount so they say). I was told they were the brain of my system and not an ordinary thermostat. A few days later the upstairs thermostat displayed an error to replace filters. I reset it. Got the error again so called Cousins who said to reset it. Got the message a 3rd time so Cousins came out. I told the tech that the error concerned me because I was receiving a constant error like this several months ago and it turned out there was a blockage. The techs solution was just to disable the error all together...Not only on the unit giving the message, but the other unit as well. Uh, thought these thermostats were the brain of the system? Due to my prior experience with this error, I thought it was unsafe but the tech said I was under warranty so no worry. Obviously I don't want to strain my system and cause a breakdown just because it's under warranty so I changed the thermostats back to allowing the error message after he left. The next day I got the error again on the upstairs unit. I checked the filter the tech had installed during maintenance and it was partially sucked into the unit. Their filter was ridiculously cheap so the air handler had pulled it up into a concave shape. I immediately replaced it with a more secure metal wire filter and the error went away immediately and has not returned. As a result of this experience, my confidence in Cousins has dropped considerably. :( ORIGINAL REVIEW: I moved into my home just months ago and the downstairs AC went out shortly thereafter. I initially called Sansone because this was the service provider the previous owners had used and they were the company that installed all the AC units in the house a few years back. I luckily had the warranty contract for my units which stated the warranty was fully transferrable. I spent hours working with Sansone trying to get them to confirm the warranty information. First they said it was not under warranty. When I told them I had the warranty in hand, they then told me it was not transferrable. When I painstakingly explained to them several times that it was in fact transferrable, they then told me I would need to get something in writing from the previous owners in order to effect the transfer, even though there was no such stipulation written anywhere in the warranty contract. I finally called the manufacturer, Carrier, who said all Sansone needs to do is fill out a transfer form and send to their local distributer. After several calls back and forth between Carrier and Sansone, I was getting no where. Carrier had to raise the issue to their upper level support team who called Sansone directly and then told me that a particular person at Sansone would be getting back to me to complete the transfer. But I never heard back from Sansone. I called to follow up directly with the rep given to me by Carrier and he still never called me back. Now I have wasted an entire day on the phone with various people at Sansone and Carrier and I am still sitting in a 95 degree home. The next day, I am so fed up with Sansone that I look into other Carrier authorized dealers and came across Cousins Air. After all of a 3 minute conversation with Kim at Cousins, they confirmed the warranty, said they would handle transfer and scheduled one of their reps to come out right away. They fixed my AC in about 30 minutes...and the tech was very efficient and knowledgable. Afterwards, I immediately inquired about a service contract with them. They were a little more expensive than the service contract Sansone quoted me but I would not be surprised if Sansone gave me the wrong price and regardless, my experience with Cousins was so seamless that I was going no where else. Then, before we even scheduled the first maintenance, my upstairs AC unit went out. Cousins came in a few hours and fixed it - all under warranty. Turns out Sansone installed the UV filter incorrectly and the light burned out my electrical wires. Lovely. So not only did Sansone lie to me and give me the run around for a day but they also apparently had an incompetent tech. Today, my downstairs air handler started leaking. But YET AGAIN Cousin came to the rescue within an hour. Turned out to just be a backed up drain pipe, but they fixed it no charge. I really cannot say enough good things about this company from the service contact, to their reception, to the warranty contract specialist, and most important, their uber professional techs. In a state where lazy, incompetent scam-like service professionals seem to be the norm, Cousins is a welcome relief.
