1-800-GOT-JUNK? - Palm Beach County
About us
1-800-GOT-JUNK? is the world's largest full-service junk removal company and we help companies and homeowners reclaim their space. We remove everything from homes and offices, including a single item like a couch or multiple truck loads of office furniture and construction debris. Our location specializes in estate clean-outs and removal of office furniture from Class-A office space. This location and our staff have been recognized for their high-quality of customer service in the Palm Beach Post and other area publications. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? measures the customer experience through Net Promoter Score (www.netpromoter.com), the same methodology used by Apple Computer and other multi-national corporations. When we say we care about the customer experience, we mean it. We also have the most technologically-sophisticated fleet of junk trucks in the state of Florida. We have dash-mounted computers and redundant telecommunications. I know, sounds like a lot for a junk removal company, but part of being professional is having the very best equipment on board so we can satisfy customer needs quickly and efficiently. Our commercial customers trust us because our certificates of insurance list our employees, so they know that we didn't just find some workers on the side of the road and slap a shirt on their backs. Our location works closely with local charities and recycling centers such as Hospice by the Sea, Boca Helping Hands, Delta Recycling and others, which helps us divert usable items from the dump.

"Hello [Member Name Removed], I apologize that we fell outside of our arrival window! I do hope the team was able to keep in contact with you regarding the late arrival. We appreciate your business and are glad to hear you shopped around and went with us! Cheers!"
"Hello [Member Name Removed]; We are disappointed to hear you were unsatisfied with the service. As discussed the 109 only cover 1/8th of our truckload or the equivalent of $208. The items we removed from your job are not typical household items. Tile/Dirt/Gravel/Rocks and other very dense items fall under our "BEDLOAD" rate which is higher than our normal truckload rate. You were quoted 3/4th of a BEDLOAD plus an additional amount for the non Bedload items (crate, wood pallet, pool net). Your total quote was above $600 but we reduced it to $515. Your coupon covered $208; which is why you were responsible for the additional $307. We do apologize if the team did not accurately explain the pricing model which is why we extended a discount on your future service. We have coached the team to ensure this does not occur again! Thank you again for using our services and we hope to change your perception of our business next time around."
"Thank you [Member Name Removed] for using our services! We hope to do business with you again in the future!"
2 workers arrived and went back to look at the material to be removed. The first thing they did was to make up an invoice showing that I would owe and extra 450.00 in addition to the Angie's list big deal. I explained to them that 3 cubic feet was the size of a home refrigerator and the deal was for 4 cubic feet which was around what I had. They told me that they went by how much space it took in the truck they had. They did not even know that I had an Angie's list big deal. They called their boss and came down some on the price. I told them that was not negotiable. They called their boss and I talked to him to let him know of the big deal and what I had. He had his workers take pictures and send them to him. After a few minutes he called them and told them to honor the price of the deal with no additional charge.
The workers needed to be trained in their job to know how much they are hauling. It seems to me that the deal is a come on and they hope people will pay the extra money they are asking. That did not happen with me as I told them I have used Angie's list several time with the big deal and was always satisfied with the service.
The final deal is that the work was performed as advertised, but I should not had to go through the hassle.
