Excellent response by phone and e-mail polite, professional, direct and honest and very timely.

Sunset initially bid $130/month to do our lawn. They then slid in a bi-monthly $65 treatment service which was not what I was looking for or agreed to up front, but did accept it. Their work was shoddy, rarely got grass beginning to grow between the edges in the sidewalk, trimmed bushes in the front of the house, but never in the back and showed up on an irregular basis. They have an option to submit your credit card on their invoices and activate automatic billing. I did this and it worked for a while and then they started sending invoices again. Melanie from their office called and said I hadn't paid and they needed payment. I reminded we paid by CC on auto billing, she apologized and asked if I could give her my CC info again (she lost my info?!) and I did. That worked for a month, the bills then came again and two months later the lawn cutting unit stopped showing up, but curiously the treatment unit never stopped. I emailed Rick the owner about these problems and he asked me to call him on his cell. I did this 3 times, never got him and he never returned the call over 5 weeks. Three weeks later, Molly in his office called and left a message that she needed payment information (again!); I called back, could not get a human on the phone and no one has returned my call in over a month. These folks are your typical southern don't-have-their-act-together, don't-give-a-crap lawn service company that I would avoid at all costs. I also filed a complaint with the Central Florida BBB.

I've never had to call them for a problem.

Though they did cut down two small trees that were suppose to be transplanted, they deducted the cost of new trees (of the same size) and planted them then deducted the price from the bill. Honorable. You have to watch the workers, but they came through for us and on time. That says a lot these days. Call them, they are OK.

THEY DO THOROUGH WORK, AND THEY CARE ABOUT THE LAWNS THEY MAINTAIN. THEY TOOK CARE OF THE LAWN BEFORE I BOUGHT THE HOUSE SO I KEPT THEM AS MY PROVIDER. I HAVE HAD THEM FOR ABOUT EIGHT YEARS, AND I THINK THEY CARE ABOUT THE LAWNS.

THIS COMPANY DID A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY CAME HERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND WORKED VERY HARD TO GET THE PROJECT COMPLETED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THEY HAVE BEEN BACK SEVERAL TIMES TO MAKE SURE THAT THE PLANTS AND SOD ARE PROGRESSING WELL. THEY REPLACED ANYTHING THAT THEY FELT DID NOT LOOK LIKE IT WAS GOING TO MAKE IT.
