SERVICE ONE AIR CONDITIONING

These guys fixed my plumbing issue (outdoor spigets needed fixing/replacing). I was surprised at the pricetag for the work but the tech was solid and the job got done. I might shop around a bit more next time but you get what you pay for.

Service One installed a new air conditioning unit in my house 5 years ago. They offered a 10 year all parts/labor warranty for an additional cost. I was hesitant at first - and now see the value. My entire cooling unit broke down in August and it was a major repair. The entire coil system needed to be replaced. Service One came out, fixed the problem and never asked for a penny. The Service One employee told me this would have cost $3,000.00 if I did not have the warranty. I have been skeptical with warranties as they usually have "hidden small print". Not with Service Once. They just did what was right.

My second A/C service through this company. And, again, a very positive experience. Cesar's attention to detail was very much appreciated. Very professional, courteous, trustworthy, thorough. Thank you.

They were terrific!!! They have kept a 40 year old air conditioner going way past its due date. They helped us until we could afford a new one. They gave us many options as to which new air conditioner we wanted form reasonable to more expensive. They installed it the next week but kept the current one going until the new one was installed. They were very efficient, fast, friendly, and professional. My son has a 30-some year old air conditioner and I suggested these guys. They came out and did the same thing, they bypassed something so that it would still cool them and now they are coming out to explain different plans/prices etc. They are fantastic.

Fantastic. The Service One guys are a really good crew. They came out, started their work and they're constantly chatting and making sure everyone is on task and involved. The picture of great teamwork honestly. I had an entire new system installed, both indoor and outdoor units plus wiring and copper. The job ran long and they sent what looked like half the company out to assist. And even though it ran way late they still only expected what was on the invoice. I doubt I'll call anyone else again for HVAC or Plumbing needs.

I scheduled to have my AC System inspected for the Angie's List special price of $69. Judy (phone receptionist) was very polite and helpful with informing me of the details of the deal and my other options. Based on her input, I elected to stick with the $69 inspection deal. On the day of the scheduled service the technician was running behind schedule and I received a phone call informing me of such (much appreciated). Once the technician arrived, I felt a little of a bait and switch technique forming when the technician said that cleaning the coils in my unit was not typically included in the deal but he'd go ahead and do it since that's what I was told over the phone. The technician invited me to stick around and watch as he inspected the system. Any questions I had he had an answer for. Ultimately he found two of my three capacitors blown in the outside AC compressor unit. He quoted me a a price (~$300) to replace both capacitors before doing the work. I went ahead and had him do the work even though the cost of the parts themselves is less than $50 total (when I looked up online) and it took him all of 10 minutes to replace the parts. I feel somewhat ripped off but I know there is a cost of doing business and convenience of having it done onsite without waiting for parts to arrive and me electrocuting myself trying to do it myself. All in all I'm happy with the service provided and would probably use Service One again in the future. Just wish the markup wasn't so much on $50 parts and low effort labor but I'd probably have this same experience with any AC service provider.

Outstanding company to work with. The guys knew their stuff and were very pleasant. Not to mention that I never felt that they were stacking jobs onto my invoice so that I would pay more like some of the other companies practice doing.
