We have used WK Mfg. many times and they are excellent.  They are very knowledgeable about  the construction of manufactured homes and how to make repairs.  I believe their employee, Steve, can do just about anything you ask him.

"[Member's name removed] I can not find your name as doing any work for you in January (windows for approx cost of $2,000.00) but you described our work as bobcat service and we do not offer that service. I noticed your address as PA. We are in Florida only, is it possibly under another name and address in Florida? You had said you would not hire us again and I would definitely like to rectify any problems you might have had if it was actually our Company that did your work.Good Customer service is our number one rule here and I would like to take the opportunity to fix anything that you were not happy with. But again I would need more info on name, location, and numbers because at this time i do not see we have done any windows under that name in Jan of 2015 or received any dissatisfied phone calls from that name to date. I was unhappy with the step going into my house so called WK for an estimate which was very reasonable. They suggested building wooden steps instead of tearing out bricks as it would be much cheaper. We scheduled a date to do the work and they arrived on time and went right to work. They checked with me as to the width of the steps and I decided Ii wanted it wider so they went to get more wood to make it the change. When finished they had me test the steps out and they are perfect. They cleaned up even getting down on hands and knees with a brush to clean up all the small sawdust. They came back three weeks later to stain the wood and it is beautiful. I have now asked for an estiimate on a new front door and putting glass windows on my screened in porch. This a family run business and they do great work and are proud of what they do and aim to please.

I went to WK to inquire about an exterior door for my manufactured home. However, they no longer provided the type of door I was interested in - an oval frosted glass decorative door with storm door combination. I subsequently found what I was looking for at another supplier. Still, the gentleman that greeted me was very polite and professional.

They are excellent. They are very very good. People that live in manufactured homes should really consider them and I think a lot of them do. I think I looked them up on Angie's List one time and I did not find any reviews on them. It is a small family affair. They are very knowledgeable about manufactured homes, because they deal with that mostly and there is a lot of things about manufactured homes that is different about than site built homes. It is a husband, wife and son business, and then they have a couple other employees, but it is mostly them. He has been in business for a long long time. They just know what to do when you tell them what your problem is and they know how to fix it. They are very reasonable in price. They are not as reasonable as a handyman in your park or something like that, but they are bonded and insured, and all those good things that you need when you are having some work.

We eventually declined having the underneath work done I declined because I do not believe the work actually needed to be done. When I called Kim to let her know I did not need the work performed, they were very understanding. They did follow up with putting the trim strip along the roof line. I wanted to pay them for their first visit out since they had to travel around 20 miles to reach my home, but they wouldn't accept the payment! They have been around for about 25 years!
