First, I have to address the review given back in 2011, This person either reviewed the wrong business, or has no clue about the Owner of Atlantic Auto Tint and Truck Stuff Direct!!! If he did, he would retract the nasty and unjustified comments. David Carter is one of the most honest, fair, hard working business owners I have ever had the pleasure of knowing......and we have known him for two decades. Each and every time we have done business with David Carter over the last twenty years, we are always confident that we will receive a meticulous job at an extremely fair price! He has never disappointed us and always exceeds our expectations, and we are picky consumers. Don't ever hesitate to do business with David Carter at Atlantic Auto Tint and Truck Stuff Direct. You will be glad you did.

Very Rude and Insulting to an established and loyal customer. I have a hobby and interest in purchasing and enjoying different cars and trucks since 1982. I met the owner of Atlantic Auto Tint and Accessories, David Carter, in the early 1990's. I have been a valuable and loyal customer for the better part of approximately 20 years. He has installed thousands of dollars of accessories on 10-15 cars I've owned over the years. I recently bought a used Super Duty Ford Dually. Someone had obviously removed the rear mud flaps as is obvious from the fasteners that were left. The truck looks very expensive when you see it and don't know the mileage and year model. When I went to Atlantic on 07/12/11 I noticed that I got an unusually cool reception from Dave. Not what I expected after spending thousands of dollars at the business and referring numerous friends, co-workers and acquaintances. I have been a rolling advertisement for the business for many years. People see how nicely-equipped and clean my vehicles are and ask questions. Of course I steered them in Dave Carter's direction. I greeted Dave and inquired how much a pair of rear mud flaps would cost? He informed me that they would cost me $160.00. I thought that was a bit expensive for just two, plain, black, rubber mats. I then asked him if he could cover the door and tailgate handles with stick-on, chrome covers? After hearing the price I asked if he could just order the tailgate lever cover and I would pay him cash. I told him I would keep coming back for the reminder of the accessories until the truck was done, with cash that I would save out of my weekly budget. When I returned two days later to pay for the item, I made contact with Dave and greeted him. He asked me three (3) times in front of another customer if I "had been saving my money". I repeatedly asked him what he meant? He did not respond other than to ask the question again. He did not have the item I requested and told me it might be on delivery truck today. After I left the business, his comments settled in. I called him back and voiced my concern that I thought he was indicating that I was being cheap since I did not place a single, large order with him. My suspicions were right on target. Mr. Carter went on to tell me that he "didn't appreciate me insulting his intelligence by driving in, in a $60,000 truck and claiming all I could afford was a tailgate handle cover". Wow! How rude and insulting when I am there to give him business and just trying to avoid placing the items on my credit card! I would like to warn potential customers of his rudeness and lack of professionalism. I have terminated my business relationship with him and Atlantic Auto Tint and Accessories. I am so regretful of supporting the business for so many years to be treated with such a lack of respect.
