Worst Company EVER! We were REPEAT clients and they treated us like dirt! They held our money, delayed and almost cancelled a refinancing of our home that saved us $700 EVERY MONTH then just didn't do the work!!??!?? They took a $4,500 deposit from us then CANCELLED the deal 90 days later, all while having our $4,500 AND screwing up a refinancing we were doing! They quoted a JUNE date yet in FEBRUARY filed a Notice of Commencement, which is a LIEN on your home! The windows would not even be built until May, regardless they filed to "commence" with work in February? They were NOT coming until June?? Insane Right!! Then instead of simply signing ONE piece of paper and releasing the lien so we could proceed with our refinancing and then refiling the commencement notice, that NEVER should have been filed FOUR months before they planned actually commencing, they said they weren't doing the job now!!??!! The mortgage rep literally said she has dealt with this hundreds of times before and it is simply one piece of paper but rather than being inconvenienced a little bit they chose to let us be inconvenience ALOT! We could NOT refinance and save $700 a month until Becky, the rude and not too bright owner, would sign ONE PIECE OF PAPER?? We had done business with them before? We fed there employees all 4 days! We paid in full! Then we called to have them do ANOTHER job and got treated like that! The man who built the business and clearly had people skills has passed away! Do NOT be fooled! His wife Becky and arrogant son Matt are not the reason they have been in business for years! They are deplorable in their treatment of repeat clients so imagine if you are a first time client! My advice for ALL reading this is to use ANY company other than The Window Shoppe! Horrible customer service, extremely rude people, completely inconsiderate, oh and by the way we are having a different company do the work now and they are charging us $1,200 Less!! So let me reiterate.....AVOID THE WINDOW SHOPPE or you'll be sorry! You have been warned.......

Waited 6 months for replacement window. When guy came to install; he had the wrong window. Waited another 3 months. Arranged my entire day around him coming at 2:00PM at 2:30pm he phoned to say he had the wrong Windows and would have to reorder.

It was a good experience. There was really nothing good or bad. They just did it.

First off they are located in Orange City, not Daytona Beach. The address is 1280 South Volusia Avenue and the phone number is correct.
I could not have asked for a better company to do business with in getting new windows. I did get quotes from several other companies and was quite amazed at the different qualities out there and pricing. I believe Window Shoppe gave me the best product for the price. Matt was very prompt and very informative when we met to discuss the windows. I had some questions later on and he was very quick to call me back with answers. Yes, their financing options are different, but once explained they make sense and you just need to chose what works best for you. I was told six weeks after my windows were measured that they should be in stock and it was pretty close to that time frame when they called to tell me the windows were in. I was told that it would only take a day for the install and that was correct as well.
The guys got here in the morning and worked into dusk to get them installed. The guys are very hard working, they seldom stopped for breaks. You cannot ask for a better bunch of guys for your window install. They were very professional, courteous, and treated my house and belongings like they were their own. As I got double hung windows, something new to me, they took the time to show me the correct way to use them, all the do's and don'ts.
They picked up after themselves, even going as far as to vacuum some parts of my house around the windows after they removed the old ones. The new windows were cleaned upon install, and all of the old windows, screens, etc. were thoroughly picked up and removed.
I have had dealings with the whole components of Window Shoppe; the office staff, the installers, and the salesman. I have had nothing but pleasant experience with the whole company. The office staff filled out paperwork for me so that I can take advantage of Duke Energy's rebate on the windows and also set up the appointment for the final inspection of the windows. Every area of dealing with this company ran very smoothly. I highly recommend you go with them.

The quality of the work done was excellent. The job came out very nice.

However, I had an issue with the price. I had a signed contract on the price of the job with Matt ( the salesman). After the job had already started and my room was all torn apart, Matt called the installer at my house and told him to tell me that they would not do the entire job for the contracted amount. I had to pay an additional amount to get the door done. I know the contract included the entire job and there were no contingincies I talked to Matt at the time and I got nothing but excuses. I paid the extra amount to get the job done but I am writing these comments so that anyone interested in dealing with this company would have an idea of what they could expect.

I also had a problem with punctuality and responsiveness. A small part of the job had to be done at a later date. I was put off on this part of the job several weeks longer than I should have been. Again, I got nothing but excuses. I was told that they had the materials needed to finish the job on previous calls to the company. When I called (several times) to find out when they would finish the job I was treated with rudeness and indignance. The office staff was very condescending.

Repaired a window they installed 7 yrs ago. I had to contact them twice before they got back to me. I had to continue to contact them while they searched for my file. They were prompt with contact after finally finding my file. When they came to replace the part, the tech brought the wrong part but returned the same day with the correct part and repaired the window.

They have their office where they show you all the options. After I've picked the windows that I wanted they sent out the installer to measure all the windows. A month later he came back with the windows, replaced them all and took the old windows away. Their installer did the entire thing in one day and didn't finish until 9:30 when he got it all done. They are going to do work for me again next month.
