Sunshine Builder Group

Recently, we contracted Sunshine Builders Group to locate and repair a leak in our front living room. Their work was superb, but, we are sad to say, they blindsided us with the final cost. The original estimate was less than $700. We understood it might be more after they located the problem and repaired it. After continually discussing the cost with James, the contract supervisor, he assured us the final cost would not be over $1,000. He told us this even after the work was completed. For several days, we pressed them to send us a final bill. Finally, they sent a final bill of almost $1400. We explained our disappointment with the cost almost doubling, and to add insult to injury, they sent an additional bill for almost $600. James explained we had to pay both bills that totaled almost $1900. James claimed that he and Rick, the operations manager who sent the bills, had considerable miscommunications about the costs, but we still had to pay both bills. We never experienced this before. We paid both bills, but they totally blindsided us with their pricing practices.
