Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

We called two other plumbing businesses before we called Roto-Rooter. One called back after Roto-Rooter had completed the job and we still haven't heard back from the other one. In contrast, I called Roto-Rooter and someone immediately answered the phone. Also, I was given a general estimate based on my explanation of the problem. It did end up being about $100 dollars more than was quoted, but we were still very satisfied. I was also given a one hour time frame that the plumber would arrive in. The first guy had some difficulties and so another plumber was sent also. He arrived promptly and identified the problem immediately. He even knew the area well enough to know that the house had been added on to which helped identify the problem more quickly. Tony was our plumber who fixed the problem. He was professional, courteous and a nice guy. We had five days of vacation remaining after he fixed the problem and we had no more issues for the remainder of our trip. When we return, should we have another problem, we would definitely call Roto-Rooter first!!! We were very satisfied with the company and very impressed with Tony, our plumber.

They came out on the weekend and took care of it. They diagnosed the problem and pumped my septic tank. I need new drain fields, but they do not do them.

service technician arrived on time and went right to work. everything went very well. I would very much recommend them to anyone needing this kind of service.

Jon came out for timely in response to our emergency and he found the access to our line, determined the problem, cleaned our main waste water drain, and tested it to ensure that it was running freely.  He will return this week for the permanent fix which is cleaning roots from the line.  Jon was efficient, knowledgeable, helpful and professional.  He arrived timely and finished quickly within the estimate.

Not well! 

For $550, they were supposed to jet the gutters and drains to remove the clog.  They only jetted one gutter drain path, but we had asked for two paths to be jetted. They snaked with a camera and said we had a clog in the one line and would charge more to come back. Then, they left!

They told me prior to the work that the charge would be a flat fee to jet the gutters, but left after two hours of inadequate and incomplete work. There was no quote to sign for.  They were mushy in their charges and what they would do for $550.  A total waste of time and money.

Scheduled an appointment with company. No one showed up during the timeframe. No one from company even called me. Called their "service advisor" telephone number and the person who answered was clueless.

I did not have any issues with Roto-Rooter. I am very satisfied with their services.

They didn't get it done right, so we had to bring somebody else in.  We had a bad experience with them.  They charged too much and didn't know what they were doing.  They were iffy on everything.  They asked me to pay them $180, but I refused because they had not given me an estimate like they were supposed to.  We spent about half of what they wanted.  We would definitely not use them again.
