Great system, not great customer service. Our water began to smell like sulphur and we paid to have the system flushed with cleaner. We were told it may happen once a year. The problem returned two months later and I tried multiple times to contact asking if we could have it reserviced since we paid for a service that was supposed to last a year and had not lasted a quarter of that. We politely requested follow-up and received none. We like the system but are disappointed with the customer service.

Sales was friendly, the installer wasn’t as much but they did a fine job and it was hot.

Do not hire Pentair Pelican. They installed a system that Does not work and then refused to return calls and email requests to fix the problem. Absolutely horrible customer service and all calls go immediately to voicemail. Calls to the service tech that installed the system also go immediately to voicemail. I have filed an official complaint with the BBB and have submitted the problem to Consumer Affairs. $3,000 for garbage equipment that does not work.

We had hired a Pelican Water treatment company to install PSE 500, water filter/softener combo on 8/5/2020. The installer/tech from Pelican Water, Joe, made an error and failed to put glue to one of the pipe fittings and turned up the water. It resulted in a water leak in our condo and the one directly below us. Joe made a call to his supervisor and the Serve Pro team showed up to both our condo and the one below us to treat damages related to the water leak. During this drying process, Serve pre-drilled holes to drywall and took out the baseboard. Once the drying process was finished, Serve Pro informed us they need to get approval from Pelican Water to continue with repairing a portion of the job. It has been over 3 weeks since then and still waiting to get the completion of the job. We made numerous calls to Pelican Water and they put us through voicemail and no response. Once received a call from Frank from Pelican Water who agreed customer service is very important and he would follow up. However, we have not heard from him and every time we call, the receptionist just put us through voice message repeatedly. It has been very frustrating and would like other potential customers to be aware of their practice and poor follow up. UPDATE After a month of waiting and posting a review with the BBB and online, Pelican Water finally agreed to finish the job that was agreed upon. And is now finished.

$2800 job done.

Our water tasted so bad, it was undrinkable and you could taste it through cooking or boiling. After getting the pelican system installed, our water isn't just palatable, it's actually *good*. My family wants to drink water instead of soda or koolaid, and that is worth every penny.

Rating is the day after water treatment system installation so I have not had time to evaluate the product itself.

I had a perceived problem, called tech support and was treated unbelievably well. Totally professional and helpful in every way. within twenty minutes a tech was calling me from my home, on the spot to take care of the problem. Well...as embarrassing as it is to say....the problem was my fault. No doubt about it. These folks are wonderful.

The service rep was great and overall the experience was great

What sold me with Pelican was the no salt idea and being able to get the filter at a Lowes, Home Depot or Amazon. Very quick and easy setup and professional looking work after installation.

Salesperson was a bit overwhelming, but the product is great and Brad who installed the system went above and beyond! Our water is so much better now. We thought we wanted a salt based system originally but glad we decided to go this route - coffee tastes better, laundry looks nicer, shower water is softer, soap lathers better -- don't know how we lived without it!

Very reputable business, low pressure sales tactics, product and price spoke for itself. Filters available at Lowes, HD and Amazon, so that is super convenient for maintenace.

Excellent sales and installation. A bit pricey, which is why I rated 4.5 on value.

Company Representative was friendly, knowledgeable, and most important lives close, has same water, and has the system we got installed. The whole house filter is great - I can drink water from the faucet. The water is softer too.
