Paws Xpress

Mary came by to meet my 10-month-old rat terrier mix, who is very wary of strangers, and spent a couple of hours chatting and letting him get accustomed to her. And this was before I had actually hired her. She makes sure that, not only is the potential customer comfortable with her, but that she's comfortable with the situation as well, which tells me she's not just about the money. She texted me during every visit to let me know how things were going and sent amusing pictures of the occasional destruction he had wreaked after I left for work (he is a puppy after all). He quickly got to where he was very happy to see her when she arrived and she helped with training him not to pull on the leash, jump on people, etc. I am moving from a one-bedroom condo into a house with a fenced yard, so the mid-day exercise won't be needed and he's going to miss her. However, I will be going on vacation in two weeks, leaving him alone for the first time, and it never occurred to me to have anyone but Mary take care of him while I'm gone. My new house is out of her normal coverage area, but I am more than willing to pay extra to make sure my baby is comfortable while I'm gone. She has been a huge help and I don't know what I would have done without her!

We went on a trip to Europe and were gone 2 weeks. My cat had never stayed alone that long and i was a bit worried about her. As soon as i met Mary from Paws Xpress I felt so much better. She loved up on kitty right away and had her rubbing up against her by the time she left. I couldn't be happier with the service she provided. She came every other day and spent time with Kit and it showed. Kit was happy and healthy when we returned. My plant looked great also. I have been a pet groomer for 30 years and would leave any animal in Mary's caring and capable hands. She is a blessing!!!

I suddenly had to go to the hospital, leaving my two bunnies alone. I called Mary, who is a friend and had just begun her business, PawsXpress. I gave her the keys to my house and she took very good care of my bunnies, feeing them twice a day, cleaning their litter boxes and giving them their much needed love, treats and attention. They were very happy when I got home and I was very pleased with how well they had been cared for. I don't know what Mary's going rate is for that kind of service, but I think I got off very cheaply and really appreciated her good care of my bunnies!
