GLG Heat & Air Conditioning

WARNING: Do Not Hire Gary G with GLG Heat & Air. He is a very, very dangerous man. He not only takes your money, but he puts your life at risk. While we were in the process of remodeling an investment property, we had the ceilings open and I hired Gary G to install 5 new A/C ducts and expand the cold air return 3 feet from the hallway to the inside closet. Very poor workmanship from the start. The ceiling duct from the air handler was secured by rubber band instead of duct tape. I had to re-secure all the ceiling duct that were barely attached to the trusses. I can live with that, but he also left the cold air return unattached to the air handler. There are over 10 acres bordering my property. I have seen raccoons, armadillos, rats, snakes, etc. How long do you think it will take for a snake or raccoon to crawl underneath the house and crawl inside the open return or inside the air handler. He didn't even bother to install a $10.00 air filter. After paying $1,300 in full, I called and sent numerous texts to Gary pleading him to finish the job and he NEVER did. His response to me, "Tony, do whatever you need to do." Gary has no regard for safety or human life. Very, very dangerous man.

I hired Gary to replace an AC system in an investment property. It was a nightmare. To start, he ran external ducting through the kitchen that was way too large for the space. I had to redesign the kitchen AROUND the ducting. Next, the electric company I hired informed me he didn't even worse the unit correctly. He used 2 smaller gauge wires in place of the correct size needed (extreme fire hazard!). The copper lines I specifically asked to be ran inside the exterior wall were haphazardly ran OUTSIDE the house! I had to have him come back to redo the work. To top it all off, HE DIDNT PULL A PERMIT! I made him pull the permit and have been trying (unsuccessfully) since mid-December to get ahold of him to close said permit. He is ducking my calls. I will NEVER hire him again. I recommend everyone stay away from this lazy, incompetent and dishonest man. I am surprised he still has business.

Gary responded quickly. Diagnosed the problem over the phone and researched the warranty coverage. He had the defective part replaced located and replaced the next day for exactly the price he quoted me.

It was a nightmare. He failed to pull a permit. He said he was going to replace the hurricane pad and then refused to. He also was going to add a vent to improve cooling. Then he said he would fix installation issues we were having. Instead he pulled the entire unit and stole it, the police were called and they found him with the unit in his van. They threatened to arrest him if he did not return it and re install the unit.
So the police escorted him back to the house and stayed there until he replaced the unit and it was working.
Beware of this contractor who does not like to pull permits and has shady business practices to say the least.

I was in desperate need of new heating and air conditioning units for my single family home. I interviewed and got estimates from three companies. After hearing all the info and prices from the three I choose GLG Heat & Air, Ent. and I'm glad I did. Those guys were super polite, prompt and professional. Their estimate and final price were more than fair and they went the extra mile twice during the job. Once to relocate a 500 lb. cement pad (which saved me money) and once sealing the duct work in the attic which had never been done by the previously. Their concern about what I wanted out of the job shows their willingness to please the customer and also their expertise. The workers were in the HVAC business doing hands-on work for over 25 years thus giving them a many points of reference to accommodate customized-work requests. They did all the permit application paperwork for me with the city and waited two days before they excepted my money, just to make sure I was pleased with the equipment and service they had provided.
