FLORIDA DISASTER RECOVERY

Contacted company after the insurance company had given us a less than stellar report after Tropical storm Fay. Company came in and did an estimate. Company assured us that because they used the same software as the insurance company, there would be no problem with the claim. Insurance company thought company's estimate was overkill. Company though insurance adjuster was an idiot. Whatever. Insurance did not cover all of the work done. Work done was very professional and clean. Not a problem with the quality of work, just the communication on costs. Once the majority of work was done and the air scrubbers/dehumidifiers were still running, we were never informed that this would increase the cost of the final bill. As such, our final bill was an addition 33% above the original estimate. And, it still took 6 days for the company to pick up their equipment that they charged us for.
