"We reached out to the customer based upon an Angie lead that we paid for. We tried calling the number a few times, but it appeared to be incorrect. We were advised by our marketing contact at Angie that if a number doesn't work you should go to the location and try to get a hold of the customer. We were in the Area scoping another roof project and we stopped by to meet customer. What prompted us to stop by was she needed temporary tarps, and she was having interior water damage. The customer was on the phone arguing with here solar power company when we arrived. She stated she was refusing to pay for the solar panels anymore as here solar provider is OUT OF BUSINESS and that they couldn't honor the solar warranty or the improper installation of the solar panels. In our professional opinion, all solar panels were installed incorrectly causing leaks inside the home. We noticed there were several attempts to repair the roof based upon black roof mastic around the solar panel hardware connected to the roof. We met with the customer inside here home and we documented the internal water damage. We have several pictures of the hail damage and interior water damage. We also informed the customer of a recent hailstorm in the area and that she had hail damage on every slope of here roof. We asked her if she would like to file an insurance claim and she agreed. She even called her insurance company to get her policy number and was talking on a recorded line that the roofing company was going to call in a claim. She completely reviewed our contract for services, we answered all her questions for services, and she agreed with our assessment and signed our contract. Further, we told her we would be back later that afternoon to install the tarps on her roof because it was supposed to rain that night and most of the next day. We left and were preparing our insurance estimate of damage and called in the claim to her insurance company. We even had to get her on the phone call because her insurance company wanted to verify her name and that if it was ok for Daytona Beach Roofing to call in the hail claim which she agreed to. Later that afternoon, we went back to the house to install the temporary tarps on the roof. We spoke again in her driveway and let her know that tarps were secured and in place and that we would bill her insurance company for the Emergency Tarping services. She thanked us because she didn't have to come up with any monies out of pocket. We kept the customer in the loop throughout this entire process. We have done a tremendous amount of Insurance Claim roof jobs, and we have never attempted to defraud or will attempt to defraud an Insurance company. All of our insurance job work is documented thoroughly as Insurance companies want to see proof and documentation of storm related damages. We use a program called Hail Trace that documents specific weather events highlighted by dates, storm details (Hail, wind, Tornado or Hurricane) and specific location. All of our documentation, we prepare at Daytona Beach Roofing, is transparent between the insurance company and the customer. At Daytona Beach Roofing we have ZERO TOLERANCE for false allegations and threats!"
