Horrible! Culligan Daytona Beach doesn't stand by their employee's word. Mike came out and installed Water Softener System, thought it would help house sell. Was told the system could transfer to the new owners. It would NOT have been installed if it could not be transferred as the house was being sold! After the house sold, Culligan deducted over $500 out of checking account. Culligan told the new owners that the account could not be transferred so the new owners had the system removed without notifying the account holder! Terrible customer service and the office manager Michelle stated the contract should have been read better! So basically what the employee told her was a lie and had her sign the contract. The office manager is quite rude and corporate office said they would help get it resolved and nothing has been done. Dishonest and zero integrity!

I felt part in "gold" system failed too soon. Management disagreed. I paid bill. Management agreed to waive brine tank shipping charge of $35. However, $35 appeared on bill for two months with added late fees. Management today, again, has said charge will be removed. I paid three times what a local reputable plumber would charge for this system because of the Culligan name. Then major part fails in 30 months. Out of warranty, of course. Value of brand name is poor, in my opinion. Go with local, reputable plumber.

All in all, everything has been fine but when they started charging a "gas surcharge", I was furious. We had the service where they come out and check system and see if it needs salt. It also has become overly expensive. The problem I have is that you have NO choice with Culligan........we are on border line of the Orlando office but they won't service us as they have certain territories. They were much cheaper. When you go out to eat, they give you a choice of soup or salad so why can't we have OUR choice as to which one we prefer to use?? This also helps keep companies in line so they don't charge whatever they want. We quit the service for awhile but when I talked to them at the office I said as long as they don't charge that stupid surcharge we will continue. She said ok.............BUT this last bill had the surcharge on it. Not sure what we will do now. I do feel we should all have a choice.

They did it for about the price I thought it would be. They came within 2 days. They did the installation and everything is working fine.
