Blue Water Pools

Horrible. Had to get a construction attorney to force them to complete the job satifactorily. Let the permit lapse and never did final inspections after several notices from the city of Palm Coast. I got my own permit and had inspections completed. Kudos to Amy who did come up to Palm Coast to reopen the permit. She has great work ethic. Get our while you can Amy.

We hired Blue Water Pools out of Daytona after the owner, Brock, assured us that they would have the whole job done in two weeks or less. The job entailed resurfacing the pool interior and redoing a small part of the of the cement texture on the patio. We asked specifically if the job would be done when he said, and if they were able to match the pattern on the patio. Yes, Brock said they would be able to meet our requests in the time agreed upon. We were held hostage for 3 MONTHS! hals the time they showed up with not the right tools or equipment and half the time they didn't show up period. We called them several times to see when they could finish the job but Brock rarely called back and then only to make excuses. The final pool surface is ok, but the patio texture is unsatisfactory. When the patio was ready to be retextured, the man doing it said he could not match the pattern (simple concentric half circles with a sponge on wet cement). Unfortunately it looks like a half-baked thrown together texture as you can see when you look at the photos.

Very bad. They are crooks. Over Charge for work they sub out Their sales person Brock Mill does not call you back As far as I am concerned they way over charged me I would never recommend them to anyone So by haveing a sub do the work which they acted liked THEY do the work They misled me...... Had a problem which the sub is taking care but haven’t heard a peep Out of their man Brook. So if you want throw your money away use them If you want hold on to your money. The pool dive was cost effective and trouble free. Trying to get anyone to get back to me on other services I'm interested in has been frustrating.

I wouldn't use them again. They did beautiful work, but they didn't do anything on time. And they did damage things on my property.

We started on May 31, 2012.

The pool company, knowing we would have custom pool work done, still said it would take 3-4 weeks.  By July 1, we had a large trench in our yard and almost nothing done.  One the second week of July they started the stone water fall.  They finished 2 levels of stone.  The water fall was not worked on again until late October and they did not finish the grouting until the end of November.  We were told we would be able to use the pool for the summer, but they did not finish the resurfacing of the pool until late September.  We were finally able to use the pool by the second week of October, but by then it was too cold and the swimming season was over.  We did make some changes in how the job would look, but still this should not have taken 6 months to complete.  It could easily have been done by the end of July or at least mid August.  There is not excuse for taking 6 months to complete the work.

It took 6 months to complete.  They failed to show up when they said they would.  A typical week would include one employee showing up for a few hours one day once a week.

They would go weeks without showing up. At end, it was close to a month.  We also had a problem with our exterior siding on the pool deck, which was damaged when the exhaust from one of their pieces of equipment got too close and meted and warped a 3x3 section. They are willing to replace it or pay for the damage, but it will cost about $200 to repair.

They do not have enough employees to finish the job in a timely manner.  They would not even call us, I had to call them before they would show up again. 

The pool company said it was my fault that I did not order the pavers and tiles in time, but we had them all delivered by the first week of July.  We had 5 pallets of pavers, the tiles, and all of the new pool equipment.  None of it was installed by the beginning of October.  The pavers were not even laid until September.

I was told by some of the employees that they had too many jobs at one time and they were spread too thin.

The entire pool rework was gorgeous, as was the custom stonework and waterfall, but I am not sure I would use them again since they did not show up when said would.  I do not think it was the employee's fault, they were wonderful, it was the management in the company that was the problem.

These guys were great they showed up on time and did a geat job.  They cleaned up after themselves and made sure the job was complete.  They even called as a follow up after the job to make sure I was happy.
