Alltimate Tree Care

Made a contract to cut 3 large branches. Cut 1 branch and it started pouring rain and refused to continue the job. Threatened to put a lean on the house if I did not pay them the full amount immediately. Cost me over $2,000 to remove a single branch. When I payed they ran off with my money and refused to finish the job. Very unprofessional when I referenced the contract that the job was not completed they walked right past me and continued to pack up there belongings.

This company not only took our money, but also dumped on our property after we had it almost completed, after they cashed our checks. Only dealt with a Troy as the foreman, very nice sales man and gentlemen, always saying he has you and getting it all done. Job was supposed to be started Monday Jan 30 and done in 6 hours. They got there late and then said their Dump trailer was broken day before and could not take our large debris pile we had for them. so they started grading and sloping somewhat. they had to leave that day, and said they would finish next day. never came back Tues, Wed, Thur, Fri. heard from them and asked me to meet them on Sat at noon as they should be done. I was out of town but rushed in to meet them, they were still working, and told them i needed to go down street to deal with daughters. Troy said no problem, he would finish up and get back with us once done. never got phone call back, 4 hours later family and i drove down street to property to check in on it, and seems the company after taking our cash, did not even leave with our debris, and used our property as a dumping ground as well. They have ghosted us, and we are trying to reach the owners Stephen and Wife at moment to see what is going on. No review with owner once job was done, even told us. they would call me once he finished up, and I guess that was just to get us off property so they could dump all back on and take off. I am hoping Angie s list will follow up with me on this as we are seeking legal counsel and got authorities involved to help us resolve the situation, and find out if it was this Company doing this, or their subcontractors specifically, as their communication is non existent. Hopefully everyone can watch out for this company.

Good job.  However, I had to ask that the pile of tree trunks and leaves be placed in a specific area several times due to the county restrictions, and there appeared to be reluctance in piling them in another location.

The removal was efficient and the followup was timely.

Courtesy of Hurricane Ian, massive branches fell from a large oak in my yard and ended up on both my roof and my neighbors. Job turned out to be too much for the tree service I had originally lined up. so I ended up going with In The Cut after checking Angi's. Tony and Jason showed up to assess the damage and deemed it serious. Luckily for me they were able to get to my job quickly. They arrived in force and went straight to work like a well-oiled machine. Great care was taken by crew to avoid any further damage to my roof, fence and AC unit despite working tightly between two houses. To watch them work was extraordinary. A few hours later, this crew had removed the massive tree branches, cut down the remaining standing portions of the tree down to the ground and cleaned up/blew off affected areas. Entire crew was pleasant and worked non-stop. With this tree lying on my roof, I had been getting extremely anxious as the days went on so I consider myself very fortunate to have come across In The Cut. All great guys and some of the unsung heroes of hurricane aftermath! Would recommend and have already done so to neighbors.

Define the deal together & make sure that “whoever” from them - knows the deal you made.

Tony and his guys show up on time . They communicate well always giving us a step by step On the work they were doing. Tony gave us a great price and cleaned up after the work they did. I highly recommend.
