What a pleasure to work with Richard's Vacuum! We are in the middle of an extensive remodel, and hiring lots of contractors. Some are good, some are fair, but Richard's was FANTASTIC. Richard was able to schedule our job within a few days of my call and he arrived on time, ready to complete the job. Within 2 hours, our old, rusty central vacuum was replaced with a high quality, very powerful Simplicity system, and we got all new wall outlets as well as both indoor and garage hoses and tools. He even hung my tools exactly where I wanted them in my laundry room cabinet! Before leaving, Richard showed me how to maintain the compressor and how to use all the attachments. He even gave me some cleaning tips and a coupon for a free Lampe Berger Fragrance Diffuser as a thank you. I HIGHLY recommend Richard's Vacuum Center

We recently bought a house with a central vac system but it lacked usable accessories. I visited the store at 703 Mason & told them my issue. The staff was very courteous, knowledgeable & helpful. I was shown several option packages for my system and was clearly explained the pluses and minus' of each. In the end, I found an accessory set that suited my needs. Should my system ever need servicing, they will get the call. Based upon my experience, I recommend Richard's Vac without reservation.

After purchasing my new 2 story 3 year old home and being told "good luck" finding someone to install a central vac, I found Richard. What a gem! He not only had the best pricing but his planning on how to install with the least cutting of walls was amazing. You'd think the unit had been installed when my home was built. His communication before, during, and after installed was great. I have had many contractors do work in homes I have owned and by far Richard is the NEATEST I have ever had in my home. When he left I didn't even need to use the vacuum to clean up after him. He is a 2nd generation owner of the business and he does each and every install himself. A rare find. If you're looking for perfection, use Richard.

Very impressed with quality of service, friendliness and professionalism of staff. Very knowledgable and helpful.--not trying to push sale at all. After a couple visits ended up purchasing a mid level floor steamer for tile and hardwood floors. Afterwards received handwritten note with $5 coupon for Richard's and free spaghetti dinner at Mario's. Nice touch you don't often see these days.

They provided me with a better option.

I called Richard's Vacuum on Monday because my 30 year old central vacuum stopped working.  Rick came out on Tuesday after the business office closed and checked the system explaining each step as he tested the motor and connectors.  The motor was bad and my husband and I elected to replace the system with an updated model.  Rick had one on his truck and installed it immediately.  After installation he checked the system to make sure it was working properly.  He even repaired our old suction hose and cleaned the contacts on the outlets. 
Rick was professional, responsive and very knowledgeable about vacuums.  He explained the pros of the most popular models (two Simplicity models) and did not oversell the higher priced choice.  We chose the basic model which Rick assured us would meet our needs especially with the lifetime owner warranty (except for negligence).
