VIP Moving & Storage Van Lines Inc

The movers were supposed to arrive between 9 and 10 am on February 13. I called the company at 9:30 to ask where they where. An incredibly rude Scott picked up the phone and said that my appt never made it to the books. All though I had an email confirmation from Scott himself for my move date apparently he never bothered putting me in the schedule. To make matters worse Scott acted as though it was my fault. He said that since he never called me on  Thursday to "double confirm" that I should not have expected them to come. He went one to say that "the ball was just dropped." Mind you, I had taken an entire day off work for this and had to move on a week day. Scott said that the earliest he could get somone out was the next morning and offered no type of discount since he already gave me $50 off their exorbitantly high price. Thankfully I was able to get in touch with a second moving services that consisted of actual professionals that were able to move me that day, in under 2 hours, for a total price of $160. Do not let the Groupon fool you. This company has the worst customer service I have ever experianced.

Provider called to give me a quote and was rude from the start. Hung up on me and told me that no one would ever beat their prices, despite being ridiculously high.

Ok so I used this company based on a groupon deal ( bought before I had angislist). It was $139 for two mean and a trick for three hours. I only have a very small amount of stuff being a new home owner. I called the company was informed that they would only do the job for an additional $150 ... I used them only because I had already bought the groupon. The guys were totally done moving me in less they two hours. I called to ask why I was so over charged and too see if I could get a refund since it didn't take nearly as much time/ effort as Scott said it would. I was told there was a six hour min that why I was. Hanged that much that's crap no one mentioned that before I fact on the back of there truck it says three and. Truck $100 per hour. Basically I was robbed never use this company ever !!!! ... Have also reported them to groupon

Contacted VIP through their website and requested a quote to move household goods from a storage unit back to my house.  Received a reply from Scott withing 15 minutes that cost would be about $300.   I called Scott two days later to ask for what was included in the cost.  He told me that the quote included 3 men and a truck for 3 hours.  One hour travel time and two hours load and unload.  Basic .06 cents per lb insurance was included.  At the time I had seen a Groupon offer for VIP which stated $180 for this same package.  It stated that the Groupon value was worth $390.  I asked Scott if I could present this Groupon as payment for the requested services.  He said no, that the price was $300.  I asked for an explanation of what the Groupon was and why is stated a $390 value.  He did not offer an valid explanation.  I thanked him for his time and said goodbye.  His response, and I quote  . . .  "have a nice life."
I would never consider using this company and would advise anyone looking into them to steer clear.

In view of the above needless to say it went nowhere.  I would not consider for one minute using this company for any move.
