Two Men And A Truck

I had used Two men and a truck 4 times for all my moves. My recent experience was the worst I’ve ever had. My quote was for 4.5 to 5 hours at an estimated total of $1400. I had everything packed in boxes with the exclusion of our record collection which was all in crates (and we previously advised them of this during the quote). It took them 10 hours to move and they charged us double what we were quoted. They were incredibly disorganized and careless. All boxes were clearly labeled, yet they left boxes wherever, stacking heavier items on top of items clearly labeled “fragile”. My entire dish set was completely shattered! Other items were broken, furniture chipped and floor scratched. I’ve been trying for a month to speak to someone and get a resolution but they don’t seem to care about their customers because they don’t call me back. The movers seemed to be purposely taking longer to move items and lied about the number of furniture pieces we had when they reported their final report to their bosses. Will never use them again as they hold no accountability or respect for their customers.

It worked out pretty well. We had somebody we had used previously for some reason they never wanted to return my call. So I didn't think much of them. Two Men and a Truck responded with the right price at the right time. They estimated it at five and a quarter hours and they guys did it in three and a half.So whatever the estimate was, it was not what it cost me. They offered to come in and box things up and everything but my wife and I are totally anal retentive. We rented a truck ourselves just a little panel truck and moved a bunch of stuff ourselves. We're ion ou r50s and we moved from a second floor apartment so we basically hired to do all the heavy lifting. Nothing really stood out. The guys were professional. We said this stuff goes, that stuff goes. They just started picked it up and started hauling. We got to the location , we just pointed and they dropped stuff off where they needed to be. Courteous. The company misnames\d because three guys showed up with a truck.

Quick and easy

Great. Excellent staff in the office who were flexible and helpful in the planning of the move date. Pricing was better than a couple of other companies. They provided a flat rate for the move which they honored even though it required more time than originally quoted. Moving staff were friendly and careful throughout.

The two men who came to move our office were punctual and professional, and they worked carefully and quickly despite some unfortunate moving-day rain.  Best of all, they were done 2.5 hours sooner than the estimated time, which meant we paid less than the original estimate.  We have used this company before and will be using them again for future moves.

I paid these guys a lot of money to move me twice - home to temporary storage and then from storage to my new home. My mistake was not buying the extra insurance. But I DID paid them extra to protect my wood furniture. Everything was supposed to be wrapped and padded. I told them cost was no object, I wanted everything well protected. Well, several of my wood pieces (kitchen table and nightstand) were damaged and a glass shelf was broken. I wanted a refund on what I paid for extra padding and protection (about $110) but they told me the best they can do was $48 for the "per pound" insurance. I passed on the token offer. Bottom line: these guys were pleasant when taking your money, but good luck with anything else. In my opinion, they do not care about referrals, repeat business or customer satisfaction. In fairness to their employees though, they were polite and extremely punctual. I just won't be using them again.

This is the second time I've used this mover.  Prices a fair and the guys they send are always ready to work.  When they start to pack, they realized the estimator estimated low and there weren't enough boxes estimates and the time was very tight.  The estimator counted my cabinets rather than looked in them to see lots and lots of glasses and kitchen stuff.  Either way, the two guys hustled to get in done in the 7 1/2 hours that was estimated and I have to give them credit, they did it.  I didn't have one broken item or any nickel and diming lot you get from a lot of movers.  I hope I don't have to move again for a long time, but if I do, I will go back to Two Men and A Truck.  You can count on them.

My entire home buying/selling process has been a nightmare this time around.  Everyone EXCEPT this company were liars, and very disrespectful.

This company went out of their way to accommodate me and my nightmare schedule.  My closing was all messed up and they did everything short of letting me stay at their homes to help me out.  I did incur some extra fees due to the troubles but all additional fees were more than reasonable considering what I was asking of them.  From the time the moving crew showed up they worked at max speed and efficiency.  The lead on the job seemed like a great boss to have.  He knew his job very well, was punctual and respectful.  It was a summer move so it was very hot but that didn't slow these guys down.  I mean, I was really in shock how fast a "by the hour" company worked.  They earned their money!  When I speak of the lead I also caught him encouraging his guys, telling them that they were doing a good job (they really were).  They did nothing to indicate that they expected a tip but they certainly earned one.

They treated my stuff like their own.  There were a few things that got dinged here and there but they would have been much worse if I had done it.  I can't sing the praises of this company (and franchise) more.  The were THE ONLY reliable professionals during my whole buying/selling process.  I'll be writing a much more detailed letter to the company.

The first time I called and talked to Kenny I knew that this was the right company. He was able to give me and estimate of the cost based on the information that I gave him. He informed me that the estimate would be adjusted based on the actual. I had to call the office two other times and each time my questions were answered. The day of the move went like clock work. They arrived on time and the men went over the paper work and explained what was going to happen. They immediately started loading the truck first with the belonging that were going into storage and than what was being moved to the new place. The were so professional and great to work with. The best part was they finished both jobs way before the estimate and at the end the final bill was adjusted for the actual just like I was told. The cost of the move was less than we estimated and that is a first. The last move was a move from h*** and I won't mention who the company was but this was a move from heaven. I would use this company again and thanks for making a difficult move pleasant.

Our packing team and moving team were both prompt, professional and willing to go above and beyond for us. Our expectations were exceeded. We highly recommend them!

Everything went very well, this move was quite involved, from a 2 story town home, with very heavy furniture, and a large bar that needed to be moved out the back door and brought completely around to the end of my block to get it to the truck. Upon arrival at new residence they literally had to remove an outside screen door to get the bar inside, and did so with no complaints and handled all without a problem. Cinco, David, and Anthony did the loading in Davie, Fl, and Cinco and David did all the unloading here in Ft. Myers. What a great team all round!
