Sandy came to our home to meet us and our dogs approximately two weeks before our trip. Our dogs welcomed her immediately. We discussed our dogs' routines with respect to feeding and walking schedules. Sandy asked questions for clarification, and we were impressed with her thoroughness. We met briefly again the day before our departure to finalize the arrangements. Sandy maintained excellent communication with us during our trip. She sent text messages and/or e-mails with pictures of our dogs on a daily basis. It was really wonderful to see how happy our dogs were while in Sandy's care. When one of our dogs unexpectedly became sick (vomiting and diarrhea), Sandy took her to our vet to ensure prompt and appropriate treatment. When our dog was discharged from the vet, Sandy administered the prescribed medication to expedite the healing process. Having Sandy care for our pets truly enabled us to relax and enjoy our vacation.

Sandy is reliable, honest and wonderful. She is a true professional.

Sandy is absolutely fabulous. I've never used a pet sitter before and I was really concerned about leaving my dogs, Max and Emma. Sandy took care of them for two weeks and came twice a day. She fed them, walked them ever day and played with them. She texted and sent a picture after every visit. You can tell she loves animals and they love her. The process was very easy and professional. I will definitely be using her again. 

She is great.  She can help in a pinch.  she asks questions about things if she does not know; which is very appreciated and important.  I do notice from my security log that some of the visits last only five minutes; I would like it if she would spend some quality time with them.  She goes above and beyond by watering our plants and bringing in the mail.  She is also kind.  After my husband got injured, she brought us flowers.  We are neurotic cat parents and she puts us at ease.  She adjusts quickly what we want.

Sandy was amazing and a relief for my husband and I.  This is the first time we used a professional pet sitting service and we couldn't be happier.  She paid us a visit prior to our vacation to get all of the details and pick up our house key.  Once we left, she provided us with updates after every visit via text.  We felt at ease during our vacation knowing our kitties would be well taken care of. In addition to caring for our pets, she would also do some extras (open/close curtains, turn on/off television, switch on/off lights).  This was important to me for security purposes...
I definitely recommend her for any pet sitting needs...and will absolutely be reaching out to her the next time I go out of town.

Sandy is more than attentive to all of our pets, including our allergy-prone mini-schnauzer, senior citizen cocker spaniel and 2 cats. They instantly get excited as soon as they hear her car in the driveway. She has also administered vet-recommended allergy medicine/etc. when necessary. She also helped us during a 6-month period in which we fostered an American Bulldog, who was not properly leash trained, and patiently worked with Elsa to help train her.

We have used Sandy to care for our pets several times. She has a very large fenced-in yard, and our dog gets plenty of exercise! She updates us everyday - sometimes twice a day, to assure us that our pets are doing well. Sandy is very patient and flexible when our plans change. She is a true animal lover, all shapes and sizes! We highly recommend her.

We could not be happier with the service provided by PawPrintsFla.  We tried forever to find a reliable dog-sitter for our 10-year-old hound, but nobody ever measured up until we found Sandy.  She is always available at a moments notice, even during holidays.  She is great about providing daily detailed updates on the condition of our pet....his attitude, how much he is eating, etc.  And the price is right.

She is very reliable.  Im sure pets/home will be well taken care of while we are out.  Will send text of how pets are doing.  Pets love her.

Sandy is by far the most reliable and caring professional pet sitter we've ever had.  Our Golden Boy, Tanner, loves her and we never worry when we travel because we know she will care for him just as we would.  She doesn't just treat him as "a job" ... but she actually spends time with him ... playing with him, walking him and making sure he feels loved and is never lonely.  We can HIGHLY recommend Sandy to anyone and everyone.  She is absolutely THE BEST!!!

Excellent.  Sandy was referred by another dog walker that was unavailable.  She is awesome.  She loves my dog which is key, and makes sure that he is walked and given fresh water as well as lots of pets and kisses.  She makes sure to text me after every visit to put my mind at ease and was particularly knowledgeable as to a procedure my boy had to have done.  I trust her completely with my little man and that says a lot.

We have been using Sandy's services for over a year now and we love her. She is reliable and we never have to worry. We've refered her to friends and they love her as well.

This was the 3rd time we have left our 2 boys(dogs) with Sandy. We have a "special needs " 9 year old rescue who is epileptic and a 12 year old Pekingese. Sandy has ben absolutely wonderful with both our boys.  She continually sends text updates and she also sends pictures at least once per day. She is so caring and on the 2nd day when they were not eating this time she called us and asked permission to give them other food that they might like better. Our boys actually get on better eating schedules with Sandy! She is diligent about giving our epileptic baby his seizure meds 3 times a day and letting us know of any possible issues. We have full confidence in Sandy and love that she treats our furry kids just like she would her own!! I would highly recommend Sandy and her services to anyone who wants a top notch pet sitter!!

I recommend Sandy's service 100%. My vet also recommended her. She is a very animal caring person and texted us a photo of our cats and their activities, etc. every day. To me it is so worthwhile to have my pets where they are comfortable and secure, it is stressful enough for them when we are away and I prefer them at home rather than in a boarding facility.

Everything was top notch!  Sandy was very professional and sweet.  She not only fed and cared for my cats, but also cleaned up after them.  Mail and garbage were taken in.  I had constant contact with her daily (as I had never been away from them before) and she was always available to reassure me that all was well.  I will definitely use her again and feel good about it.

Sandy is extremely reliable.  She always comes at a moment's notice and I have never been disappointed with her work.  My cats are always calm when I come home and that's a sure sign everything has run smoothly while I was away.  They like Sandy and like to climb in her purse!  Another good sign.  I don't have to worry if there is ever an issue at the house.  I know she will contact me immediately and let me know.  She even sends me texts every time she visits the house to let me know all is well.  In summary, I can't remember having a pet sitter that was as conscientious as Sandy, and I would certainly whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter.

She is excellent!  She provides updates after each of her visits with the animals!  She is always available, and responds promptly.  I feel at ease when we leave for vacations knowing that our pets are underneath her care.

Sandy is amazing!! She is extremely trustworthy with your fur kids and your home. She will come by at least once a day while you are gone, and more if you prefer. She will also pick up your mail, water any plants and take out your trash. It's like having a pet sitter and house all together. She has always been available when I need her, even in times of short notice. Sandy always leaves little toys and treats for the cats, its really sweet. Everyday while away I get a text with updates about our animals so that we are able to relax while on vacation knowing that all is well, and that our fur kids are enjoying their time at home. I don't know what we would do without her, she is reliable and passionate about the care she provides to your pets.

We've been using Sandy as a regular dog walker since shortly after we brought our latest puppy home last June.
We have four dogs of various breed, size and temperament and they all seem to love her. Even our Vizsla seeks her out for pets and attention; he doesn't usually do that with anyone but us.
As for service, I know I can rely on Sandy and that the dogs are being well looked after when she's around. Every visit is followed by a personal note or text to let us know the dogs are well and have been taken care of. When our Dane had a severe allergic reaction to something in the yard (on our watch, not hers) Sandy graciously added and quot;administering medsand quot; to our service that week. She's even helped me flush my dog's eyes when I gave him the wrong drops.
Recently we had to make an unexpected trip out of town and after exploring all of our options we went with boarding the dogs at Sandy's. That's no small job, but the dogs had a great time and Sandy kept us informed of their well-being periodically throughout the trip.
When it comes to our dogs we didn't just want a dog walker, we were looking for a care-giver and that's definitely what we found.

We have used Sandy's services several times previously, and been thrilled with the care she gave our 2 kitties. She was referred to us by another highly rated pet sitter from Angie's List who didn't work in our area. She originally stopped by to meet the kids and spend some time with them - and us. I was immediately impressed with her professionalism and caring about our cats. She explained that she prefers to come every day in case there are any emergencies she needs to take care of, either in the house or with the cats. She put out our garbage cans on trash day, took them back in, brought in the mail, watered plants, changed litter boxes, checked food and water. The note she leaves before you get home, along with a little gift, just lets you know your pets have had wonderful care while you were away. I couldn't be more pleased with the care she gave my kids, and getting the daily emails after her visits really made us feel that we hadn't abandoned our kitties, but had left them with someone loving and caring. Sandy will always be my choice for caring for our kitties.

Oscar for extended period of time while we were renovating a house. Would recommend Sandy to anyone in that you can
drop your pet off and not worry about how they are doing. Even stopped by our vet to pick up special eye drops the Vet had prescribed. Just perfect...

Sandy is my dog's guardian angel - not only does she care for him like he belongs to her, but she went above and beyond when he recently got very sick and I was out of town. I travel for business one week every month and Sandy has done an outstanding job caring for my pet. She is extremely flexible if my schedule changes, keeps me informed of how things went after every visit and even checks in to see how my dog is doing when she is not caring for him. I trust her implicitly in my home, she is happy to water plants and take in the mail - truly, one-of- a-kind! I highly recommend Sandy as a pet sitter - you will not find a more compassionate, conscientious and trustworthy caregiver for your pet.

Sandy was wonderful!! We were very worried about leaving our dog with anyone. We interviewed several pet sitters and Sandy came out on top!! She was very knowledgeable and confident in her skills. Sandy knew we were nervous about leaving our Malinois with her. She kept a running dialogue via text with us through out his stay with her. He returned the next day a very happy puppy. We will use her again and again!

Sandy is fantastic! She is very meticulous about the care of my pets, noting any unusual behaviors and promptly contacting me about any concerns. My dog is 14 years old with multiple chronic health issues and I have two cats with widely different personalities. I feel totally secure that all of my pets will be well cared for and get the attention that they need.
I have had two negative pet care experiences in the recent past. Many pet sitters will spend 15 minutes or less with your pet, but Sandy spends at least 30 minutes on each visit, so the extra cost is worth it.

Sandy Applegate is extraordinary. For the first time in 10 years my wife and I were able to take a two week vacation with peace of mind knowing that our two beloved dogs were being well cared for.
For all of our previous vacations over the last decade we boarded our dog(s) at a kennel or alleged pet resort with varying and usually disappointing results. Even from the most exclusive of these previous providers, we often returned home to a matted pet or a dog with kennel cough. That won't happen any longer, now that we have met Sandy and the wonderful, heartfelt care that she provides for our dogs.
We were referred to Sandy by close friends whose opinion we value. Sandy came to meet us at our home for a preliminary discussion and whereas we were originally intending to have Sandy board the dogs at her home, she so correctly suggested that based upon her long and professional experience, dogs do best in their own environment. We deferred to her opinion and she was absolutely spot on. We returned home to two very happy, exquisitely maintained dogs that showed no evidence of any stress.
We contracted Sandy to come to our house 4 times daily to walk, feed and play with and quot;our girlsand quot;. Our 11 year old Schnauzer and 7 month old Maltipoo couldn't be happier as evidenced in the photos and videos that Sandy continually sent to us abroad either by e-mail or text.
Sandy is the utmost professional having inquired with us all of the information that might have been necessary in the event of an unforeseen problem with our pets while we were away. She documented all emergency contact information (both ours and local family), our regular vet's contact info and even discussed where we would want our dogs brought in the rare after hours emergency. She thinks of everything that you can and more.
If there is any proof of the qualified care provided, all it took was to see the excitement and hear the squeals of delight of our two dogs when Sandy came to visit the day after our return for a post vacation visit where Sandy delivered our girls a wonderful gift basket of doggy toys.
We fully intend to continue using Sandy Applegate of Paw Prints FL not only when we travel in the future but also for times when we just can't be home for our girls. Sandy has our unequivocal vote of approval and we heartily recommend her services to anyone who loves their pets.
