Daniel was responsive and professional. He quickly provided a quote as promised and even recommended different brands and flooring. Installation was easy, on-time, and his installers were respectful and courteous while working in my home. Great Job.

Dan is always very professional and fair.  They installed wood floors in 1400 sq ft and carpeted up the walls of our recording studio.  I wanted a specific sound and he did it all to perfection. 

All the positive comments above are true. Daniel was accessible,  prompt, and professional. His installers are experienced , fast and clean. Would use them again.

In January of 2013, I identified this company from Angie's list and my husband and I went to their showroom to look at their wood floor samples.  Bottom line is that the company put down wood floors that buckled. The company hired an independent inspector to assess the issue. The inspector found that the subfloor preparation did not ensure moisture from impacting the wood. The company decided to pull the floors up, order a higher quality wood (at their expense) and put it down. These floors have shown the same issues. Below is a chronology of contacts and attempts to remedy the situation:
1/30/2013: e-mail from company that measuring and walk through would occur for estimate.
--this occurred and work began shortly after the wood was received by the company.
2/25/2013: check for final payment was issued at completion of job.
7/21/2013: response from company on contact about floor in one of the rooms, "buckling, indicating that they would fix the "hump" as an interim measure, noting August 12 as the "fix" date.
--independent inspector sent by company to assess the issue
8/14/2013: based on inspector's report, company decided to order a higher quality wood and replace in all three rooms at their expense.
--wood replaced; this did require our moving all of the furniture out of the three rooms for the second time.
2/4/2014:  e-mail to company asking for the installer's phone number to address buckling on new floors; number received.
--installer came and nailed down the floors in one of the rooms, putting wood filler over the nail heads and stain on the wood filler.
12/18/2014: second contact to the installer about floors buckling in other rooms and the floor that was nailed down, peeling in spots
--installer returned and said would need to pull up some of the outside boards (around the perimeter of the rooms) to allow the buckled boards to be put down flat and for any future expansion; agreed we would wait until after the holidays.
1/19/2015: texted installer who indicated "Busy now but will ASAP"
1/20/2015: texted installer that other home renovations were starting and would need to wait for those to be completed before floors could be done; noted would contact when ready
9/25/2015: other renovations were completed at the end of April; we were traveling through August so texted the installer at this time that we were ready--no response.
10/5/2015: texted again and called installer (left message) that we were ready for repairs.
10/28/2015: texted installer again--no response.
10/29/2015: emailed company explaining situation and asking for assistance in resolving--no response .
11/4/2015: resent 10/29 email with additional note to please assist--no response.
I initially felt that the company and installer were very responsive but we now have three rooms that are in need of repair and there has been no response at all. One is a guest bedroom where the floor is buckled 2-3 inches up, a safety hazard.  The floor that was nailed down as an interim fix from the buckling, now has paint peeled off and the nails show prominently.  The third room does not have major issues but does creak and appears to have the potential to buckle.

Update: I had hoped to resolve this through the Angie's list resolution process; unfortunately, because I attempted to work with the installer directly--as I was told to by the company--the time frame does not allow for resolution through Angie's List. Lesson learned for the future. I am very disappointed as we will now be paying for repair in one room and total replacement in another room. I am surprised that a company with an A rating would not respond at all to the attempts made for contact. 

If I could give higher then an A rating I would. This company was exceptional to work with. The prices were good, the quality of the product was good, customer service was excellent, and worked perform was great. They did a Brazilian wood on the floors in the whole home and look amazing.

From day one, Mr. Daniel was responsive and assisted in ordering additional samples. The gentleman Tom and Rich could not have more professional and detail oriented. They did an OUTSTANDING job on our place. They take great pride in their work and it shows. They even stayed until 8pm one evening to ensure that the job was done correctly. I would highly recommend Daniel Flooring and Rich and Tom in particular to lay your floors. Love using local businesses for these type of projects and we could not have been more pleased with the work that was provided. Fair Prices, Quality Work.

Last week I was in hot water, literally. My water heater burst and ruined my wood floors   There was mold and mildew all over the place, disgusting.  To make matters worse, I had guests coming to live with me, in just a few days!  I called many flooring companies, no one called me back.. it was all voicemail.  Daniel picked up the phone on the first ring.  I explained the situation to him and he had workman at my house THAT DAY.  They commiserated with me about the removal of the wood floor, I was trying to pull it up myself.   I broke two tools...  The men told me that I was in too deep, that this wood would not come up easily.  They were right.  They proceeded to chip up that floor for 12 hours. and within a day, the entire floor was repaired and installed with a lovely laminate.  They even helped me put the furniture back in the room. It was an amazing experience and  I really feel fortunate that I found them.  They are the best!  No more moldy floor.

hands on experience in the trade shows in the contractors hired to install the flooring in different stages of my remodelig project. Tile and flooring is almost an artform. Daniels ability to direct the correct contractors for the multiple parts of my project made house a home again...:)

Spoke to Daniel about the project. He sent a man to my home to measure the two rooms and I gave him a sample of the wood I wanted because our other rooms already have hardwood floors. Once he received the dimensions he was able to give me a price. We went to his showroom and finalized the deal. This was July 2. We gave him a 50% down payment and he went ahead and ordered the wood.

On August 7 Daniel called me and said that they would be at my home on August 10 to begin work. He thought it might take five days.

On August 10 two men appeared and, on the first day, they removed the carpeting from one room and the marble from the other. They also put down the required wound proofing on the one room. The next day they put down th soundproofing in the kitchen and an inspector from the city of Aventura cam to approve the soundproofing. They then completed laying the wood in th spare room. On the third day they completed the project. On the fourth day the Coty of
Aventura completed their final inspection.

Because we are having our kitchen cabinets refaced, the workmen did not finish the sides of the floor abutting the cabinets. That was left for the cabinet workers . When the cabinet provider came to see the project and recognized that the ends of the cabinets had to be finished with shoe molding, Daniel provided the necessary molding so that everything would match.

Everything was perfect! 

I had been trying to replace the carpet upstairs and on the stairway for over a year now.  After several estimates that proved to be too expensive and a nightmare situation with Home Depot, I finally came across Daniel.  They had a ton of options available and were able to get the laminate flooring I wanted in just a few days and have it installed very quickly.  The price was very reasonable too.  It all seemed too good to be true and I kept waiting for problems to come up, but they never did.  The installers were punctual and very professional.  I couldn't be more happy with my new floors.
I highly recommend them to everyone I know.

No drama.  Daniel's people arrived on time, did first class work and finished on schedule.  They moved and then replaced all the furniture and left the work area's clean and neat

Daniel is not the best at returning calls, but I'm glad I didn't let that discourage me, as the work performed was first class and the price was fair.

Daniel and his team were great!  Patient in showing us different flooring options, explaining process and answering all our questions.  Justin and Theo came to install the actual floor and they were very professional, neat and polite.  We could not be happier with the end product!

The job was done in an extremely professional manner. Justin lead the two week job and did an unparalleled job. He could not be beat. We are very pleased with the finished product!!!!!

Fernando and Alex showed up everyday at 9:30 they worked to about 1:00 they took a half hour lunch and were back to work till 5:00.  Fernando did a beautiful job laying the planks. My floors look  gorgeous !  After the floors were done, Daniel sent Dennis out to put in the baseboards he also did a fantastic job.   I would certainly hire again and highly recommend Daniels flooring.

From the get go daniel the owner was helpful knowledgeable and extremely cost effective. We had 2200 square feet to replace and scott his estimator came out right on time. He sent me a wonderful installer named justin. The guy is a perfectionist. We worked together to prepare the next days areas for installation. Job came out amazing. Would definitely use them again.

It went very well and efficiently. Work was completed in a timely manner and cleanup was non-existent.
